Janus moved, light on his feet, from hallway to hallway throughout the school. He knew that if he trailed Kirby, he'd eventually be able to find his way to the grounds, but he also knew that Slytherins weren't exactly supposed to be seen with Gryffindors or else they'd have some kind of holy grudge placed against them by the whole of the House. Janus really liked rave parties, too. A hop, a skip, and a few anime-blur-tool-abusing jumps later, and he was out on the grounds. Slipping ahead of Kirby during the middle of the trip was the hardest part, especially since Janus didn't know the grounds too well. "Hrm, time to cheat, I guess..." He reached into Satchel (much to the wishing-to-remain-inconspicuous bag's chagrin) and pulled out a small, square, but strangely purplish-see-through cartridge. He passed it in front of his eyes, which glowed blue for a few seconds, and winced in pain. "Gah! My eyes!" Satchel: "Nah-uh. Not today, Jay. You're gonna do this the hard way, whether you like it or not." Janus: "A flash cart... you bastard..." Attempting to scan a blank game would only draw a blank in one's mind... Which left Janus back at square one. Seeing Kirby dash out the door, he took a social risk and threw the notion of acceptance out the window in favor of learning to fly. "Gr, fine... Damn this, I can already fly, what am I doing this for?" Satchel: "Continuity!" Janus: "....." He ran after Kirby, closing in due to his longer legs and anime-like speed, and jogged alongside the spike-headed kid with ease and pace. "H-hey! Flying lessons are this way, r-right?"

Garro grabbed the shoe as Metal tried to stab him with it, holding it by the side in his mighty gloved hand as he screamed into Metal's face the rigorous training given to him by his stint at a local community college before going to university! He gripped the shoe hard, and tossed it to the side as a highly-stylized special-effects explosion blew a blast of wind toward him that made his coat blow in a frustratingly cool manner. When the portal opened up... "And what kind of self-respecting fighter shops at Payless? You want cool shoes, you go for the NAME brands, boy!" Garro whipped out his foot, and a set of shining sparkles flew through the air as the awesomeness shifted from Metal to Garro... "BANG! Authentic Lorenzis! Even gods don't have that kind of style!" The radioactive shoes flew through the air at him, but Garro whipped his foot around and the sparkles from his incredibly awesome shoes flew outward, causing each vastly inferior shoe they touched to disappear! He stomped his foot on the ground, and another shower of sparkles flew outward, this time to do the same thing to Metal! "Now THAT'S what I call a victory for good taste!" Grey called out of the wings into the arena, and Garro snapped to attention after watching the staff of suitage get formed. Dapper? Indeed. But that was hardly enough to faze Garro. There had to be an internet fad that was stronger than Zimmer. Garro himself was nowhere near that level of manliness power, and he knew he needed an idea, which conveniently came to him several seconds later. ... ... ... I said, which conveniently came to him several seconds later. Garro: "What, I got nothing. George Zimmer's pretty damn good, man." Ugh, are we pulling another Janus vs. Elder Schwa here? "No, man, it's just that... Well, it's fuckin' George Zimmer, man. Give me a few seconds." Hrm, fine. ... ... ... You got anything yet? "......yeah, I think so. I think so..." Garro closed his eyes and placed his hands together as Metal flew through the air, the especially deadly and dapper staff coming ever closer to the apparently defenseless Garro. This would be a tough one, but Garro knew. He just had to believe, too.

I mean, what the fuck! You know, life is hard enough as it is without assholes like you NOT relating to the problems that I have with my life. I want you to know that I have some serious business to deal with outside this message board. OK, get this: Firstoff, I got like, this paper to do, where I have to compile ALL OF THIS fuckin research that I had to spend 8 hours on the quad because my class got cancelled so that I could get some extra time to do field research in this manner getting from people who didn't want to take MY survey. I mean, come on, why wouldn't anyone want to take MY survey? There's nothing wrong with it! Some people are so inconsiderate. And then there's like this girl that I really want to go see and stuff, and I'm not even sure if she's gonna be able to get off work for it even though the odds of it are actually really good! What is that, what is that??? I swear, it's like THE ENTIRE WORLD IS AGAINST ME. What am I supposed to do? And then there's fencing, oh, there's fencing. My hip slips out of place every time I fence. Do you know how that feels? Nobody can relate to me, I swear! My teacher says it's because my stance is wrong and I need to stand correctly or I'll seriously hurt myself, but I mean, what does she know? Nobody understands how I feel about this, dammit. God, there's just so much shit on my plate! I don't know how I can deal with it all! I swear, IT FEELS LIKE NOBODY IN THIS WORLD UNDERSTANDS ME AT ALL, NOT EVEN LEGION.
