Yeah but Halo was going to be the game that "sold" Xbox's as well.

So there will be a PC port (I'd say it's inevitable), but it'll only be when Halo 2's done all the damage it can do.

I looked at the list quickly and there ARE some glaring issues (NERO?!?), but some of those items are still supported and should be fixed ASAP if they haven't been.

THE LIST.

So does any next-gen system not made by Sony, actually.

Then again, if you were really crafty you could play a *TON* of games on your Xbox through a mod chip, some emulators and a bit of config file tweaking.

We broke our medal duck today with a bronze! Woo!

It's not just the "ball hog" mentality. They're all very good players, but no matter how level-headed they are there's this belief that they can beat everyone else. Now they just got that taken away from them, and it's up to them to respond.

China with 10 golds already. Eeeeeeeeep.

It's not expensive at all over here. Exact same price as any other Coke/Pepsi product you'd find on the shelves.

At least it's not following the Atkins diet mentality I've seen at some places here... the "healthier" the item, the higher the price.

Back ON topic, as crazy as that might seem... I remember liking Count Chocula a loooooong time ago. Of course, we had to run across the border to get it, as it wasn't available in Canada - and to my knowledge, still isn't.

As far as chocolaty cereals go, I prefer Nesquik.

Too bad the PC version doesn't come out until September for some strange reason.

I might check it out only because I haven't played a Madden game in a looooong time... Since '99, I think. Not sure how well it sold in Canada but I haven't seen any copies. I take that as a good sign.

Very carefully.

Trillian ISN'T on the list though... and watch that work just fine.

To be fair, most of the products that are based online have problems that are fixed through just adding it to the exemption list.

Well maybe they changed it in recent years. All cereals used to be so much better when less chemicals were in them.

Well, some people aren't that addicted. I'm sure that a lot of students at my university only smoke when they're on campus, but there's ALWAYS exceptions.

Don't get me wrong - they are addictive. No question about that, all the research/facts can't be wrong. But if you smoke and don't want to make it a habit, then I think you have to be very careful and employ the "moderation" approach.

Summer wasn't that fast, but don't forget that there's no papers to write, no exams to study for, no extracurricular activities to attend...

So basically we just play games and then see that the sun's set.

Not sure if a pop-up window for PM's is really feasible, especially with pop-up stoppers and all.

Maybe a notification on a page you're loading saying that you've just received a PM, but they're easy to check anyways.

Like I said, a LOT of those programs basically have problems with the firewall for some reason - and apparently it is easy to just turn off.

I dunno though... MS should have done a bit more compatibility testing before rolling this out. The fact that many programs are affected surprises me.

You might actually be right there, but it's basically a standard feature of RPG's. If you sleep, then you'll regain all your health. Doesn't matter if you just have a flesh wound or lost an arm, it'll be all better in the morning.

Console wise, I believe Dragon Warrior would be the first to employ an inn...

Posted on 08-18-04 06:12 AM, in NHL EASTSIDE HOCKEY MANAGER! Link
Sega Europe didn't create the game. Sports Interactive, best known for the Championship Manager (now to be called Football Manager come December) soccer management series came up with this one. Sega's just distributing it.

The game bases itself around the NHL. That league MUST be active, but you can choose as many other leagues as you want - the CHL, Russia, Sweden, etc.

I've... played the game somewhat. Waiting for the 1.02 patch to be released (which fixes up most issues) but I may yet purchase it when Sega releases it in North America next month.

Rydain: Oh, I'm sure the foodstuffs required for those Atkins meals don't come cheap. If you're going to have that big Atkins logo displayed in your restaurant, then you need to provide your customers with something that actually tastes good.

Actually, Canada's prices shouldn't be too expensive in that regard (you can probably find good-quality stuff all across the country) but still...

Then again, I'M the one who ended up having McD's today.
