| your question paraplayer is exactly what chaos theory is all about. but i think randomness is more of the ability to predict the outcome. the flipping of the coin is random because we do not have enough information to predict the outcome. Yes, if people know all the things that influence the coin as it moves, then it isn't random. Because are unable to ascertain such information in the time the coin is flipped, it causes that event to be called random. hmm...it seems you said all that. computers have pseudo-random number generators--there is not such thing as a random number generator in the context of computers |

A compiler is a program that will take code and convert it into something that is executable. | guess your question says the CD is not bootable anymore--my guess is probably has to do with the CD type and the laser. You may just have gotten lucky getting the game to boot up. I'm pretty sure the PSone doesn't have a memory but you never know. I think I remember a game with copy protection but that was only in effect when I had the memory card inserted into the machine. When I took the card out of the machine, it was alright. | |||

| I think they are changing instruction sets because intel has developed technology to maintain backwards compatibility with older x86 processors. Although it good for intel to pick up a deal with apple, i don't think it was in their best interest to redesign the circuity to use another instruction set. I could be wrong. The development kit is $999 dollars so I'm guessing the answer of whether they will be changing to x86 will be in there. | |||

| Have you tried disabled the option that says "not to take focus away" I think that is some setting in TweakUI... maybe that is what is going on as other applications are taking focus away thus causing your computer to turn on. | |||

| There is something in the httpd.conf that says to load a certain part of DLL file that can't be found. If you fix that, you should be able to solve your problem. | |||

| Dell is reasonable for gaming--they have semi-flexible customizations. Just check our their laptops page. Inspiron is good for all-around use. IBM is nice for being light and good battery life (dell has good battery life as well but they trail in the weight department). However, I don't believe I've seen people play games on IBM as I think they are catered more towards academics/professional environments. WIFI is pretty much standard these days but I'd recommend just buying a wireless card anyways if you want internet support. So yeah, check out Dell or IBM and make sure the laptop doesn't use integrated video. |

| relationships in school should never be taken serious at all. That's a little harsh but think about it--how many people after each school do you still hangout with? The number becomes smaller and smaller. Probability of relationships lasting is even worse. I don't mean to sound blunt but that is the truth of the matter. This is not to say that you shouldn't have relationships--they are one of the best experiences you could ever have. But moping for a school relationship is just pointless. So yeah, it sucks now--you will get over it, and you will eventually find someone many times better than her (unless you two get back together later on in life--then just forget that last statement...) |

Graduated high school in 2002. I won't graduate college until 2007--would have been 2005 if the stupid economy didn't tank for Computer Science majors. | College isn't so bad--just have to invest the right amount of time in your classes and stay a top of things. In college, they no longer hold your hand so if problems come up, you need to act on them fast--otherwise, things may be too late. So, what college are you going to? |
