And leapt into the sky after the pooh-bear wannabe, unsheathing his scythe and slicing the ribbon on the balloon, grabbing it and letting Teddylot fall to the ground. As the bear was considerably less wind-resistant than Kalar was, Kalar hit the ground first, placed his scythe back on his back, and caught the teddy bear in his free hand before handing the balloon back to the girl. "Here you are, miss... I'm guessing protecting the farm was what you were using this balloon to practice for?" He grinned as he handed the balloon back to her. Now all that remained was to see just how terrified she was that he did that just now... |

Alright, so he lost this round... That was ok, that was ok... But who'd that leave left for him to pick up the slack on? Let's see... He had taken on Dracoon already, who had been replaced by Shyguy, so that match was out. Next was his battle with Darkslaya. Right, that one was an interesting one too, for sure. Who was third? It was Jarukoth, right? The three on three chaos that erupted from the original battle. And fourth was Melvin, his first defeat... Of the top bracket that Dracoon had divided them into, there was really only one person left that he was actually interested in battling. Kirbynite... He had given the fourth round matchup to Jarukoth in lieu of facing him himself. Now, it was definitely time...

Well, at this point, that would mean that of the people who have been around since the beginning, if Kirbynite and I battle and Melvin and Metalman88 battle, then the two finalists can be determined simply through number of wins. |

I can't stand Squall as a main character. His catchphrase, a phrase that many people are supposed to build their perceptions of a character around, assuming they even have one, is a fucking ELLIPSIS. DOT. DOT. DOT. "Hey, Squall, what'd you eat for breakfast today?" "..." "Hey Squall, what're you doing tonight?" "..." "Hey Squall, will you sleep with me?" "..." It's like he's dead or something. You get almost nothing out of him as a character. I can't see what's so deep and mysterious about him. Cloud's not a pansy, Marche is. And Zidane. And Tidus. But Cloud still gets supremely owned by Ramza. Ramza is a good example of a hero. His goals and motives are clearly defined for the person who is supposed to be taking on his persona. He is a constant throughout the entire shifting, twisting plot of Final Fantasy Tactics. While everyone else's allegiances become completely crunched by the coup d'etait that occurs among the two kingdoms, Ramza stays allied to one supreme force above all else: His own personal beliefs and the morals and ethics that were taught to him by his noble family. Ramza is an excellent hero. He matures throughout the story into a real man, and one that's capable of taking on entire armies by himself, no less. WITHOUT SUMMONS, might I add. Unless, you know, you swing that way. So yeah, FFTactics wins again. (restricted) |

A brilliant, hypermodern cityscape lay before the three warriors. Flashing lights crossed the night skies, neon signs glowed and automobiles raced the streets as they could do nothing but gaze in awe and relief at their expedient journey. Garro: "Moscow... Best way to do that is to get a sense of where he is in the world right now, as well as Star and Schwa, assuming they're even in this world at all. It's become plainly obvious that we've been separated. I'm guessing Schwa will be giving off some kind of psionic signal that we can track, or I can track anyway. And Star.... He'll... He'll...." Janus felt something. Something odd, a presence he'd not felt since... "He'll turn up... Some Time or another." That... thing. It was back. He honestly hoped it hadn't gotten Star yet. "As for Fenrir... We only really need to watch for the latest leveled city. Or go to Norway. Booking a flight would take too long, though..." Kalar: "So for now we just wait and see? Sounds like a plan, albeit a dull one." Garro: "Like there's a better idea. Incompetent boob."
