anyways, as far as I know, there aren't that many emulators for Mac so you will probably out of luck in terms of finding one that is already pre-compiled. So, if you really need one of the emulators to work, you'll have to take the source code and compile it yourself... If I had a Mac, I'd probably help you out... But, if you really, really want one, you could try to compile one yourself but it seems more trouble than it is worth if you aren't familiar enough with compiling programs.

The big issue about converting to IPv6 is money. It would have been easier back then to do the switch because there was less people. If only we could have a decision that "If you don't switch by this date, you are disconnected from the Internet." Such a decision was made back then in the 80s in order to get people to use IP in the first place (or something internet related)

 if only we didn't IP block the internet archiver we would probably still have some recollection of it--otherwise, all we can do is just keep the memory of it around... also, makes you wonder if anything like this will ever come again...

i never said anything about predicting...just wondering how long it'll be when it happens again... after all, the most logical time for 30-40 people to all to be together at once is on a holiday or a major board event such as the anniversary that's coming up in 8 days... |

hmm...i do have an old computer lying around the house--maybe I'll put a Mac OS on it... this should be fun; my first experience installing an OS that isn't produced by Microsoft. One question--how is compatibility for old Mac programs on the lastest OS? |
