well, this is one of the unfortunate things about doing sports for a living. Anyways, hockey will come back again, once one of the sides gives in more than they want to. It's lose-lose for both sides since owners aren't making money but yet still owe property taxes and what not and players don't get paid so they have to play else where, which is hard on the kids since their fathers are away...

with fseek, you can write anywhere.

Using the a allows you to keep on writing to an existing file. Otherwise, you would have to open a file, read it all, write the file again, and then you can start writing to it. So, having the a option reduces the amount you have to write.

So, yeah, a tax measure in a sparse area had no one vote for it. So, that brings up a good question, if no one votes, should it pass or should it considered to fail? Or maybe it just needs to be voted on again? not unless the voting public was concious about not voting

i'm not sure what you are doing, HH.. a and a+ aren't supposed to clobber an existing file. and why shouldn't you write before the end of the file with a? I mean, the mode is there to allow you to append. Otherwise, you ahve to figure out before hand how big the file size is before you can fseek to the end for writing.

dexdrive allowed you to do it. There is also a PSX card reader that connects your parallel port when you built it yourself.

but to answer your question, yes there is a way, either by using a dexdrive (fairly expensive) or building that card reader (inexpensive but requires electronics knowledge)

to be "correct", yahoo was a directory, not a search engine. They relied on other companies like Inktomi and Alta Vista to do their searching for them. The results they got back from that would be used as new things in the directory. Nowadays, their directory is not very effective anymore.

hmm...maybe you just need to "reset' the option--meaning remove it from the context menu, verify it is gone, and then reactivate it. The general portion of the preferences menu is where you can control it.

as for default action for bin files, just make it be associated with hex workshop anyways--don't rely on the context menu insertion.
