Nah, nah, usually ours detail about 12 computers networked together on one huge hub. And what's so suck about a bootlegged Episode III? We only watched it for the hilariously great quotes.

I like RTS LAN parties more than FPS. I'm not bad at FPS games, but I'm not the best either, and I find games like WC3 to be better than Counterstrike. Then again, I'm not really good at RTS games, either.

You consider marching band camp a bad thing?

Your school must suck, man. And to think, you're the tuba player, too! Jeez, I got to wear the bigass brass sousaphone in mine. You're a walking sex machine in one of those.

I've been out for about two weeks now, cause I only had to take two exams. Hot damn.

Alright, school's over. Which means most 17-18 year olds around here have gone through a little thing called "Graduation".

How was yours? Mine was interesting. I listened to six of the longest speeches of my life, had a diploma handed to me, and proceeded to walk through a sea of boulders to Denny's. I was the white mage.

It's kinda depressing, though... now that I think about it. I'm never gonna see some of these people again.

The rest, of course, will be going to university with me in the fall. Grand, eh?

"When all else fails, use ice." - In any RPG that has Ice (or water, if no ice is around) spells, I will use those Ice spells if enemies have no elemental weaknesses. Not fire, even if it's less MP. Not lightning, even if it's a little stronger.

But that item's completely useless! - I'm an item collector in many games. In Morrowind, I try building up a collection of swords that includes every basic sword in the game as well as most of the artifact swords (Goldbrand, Ice Blade of the Monarch) and a few custom enchanted swords. In FFT, I hold on to weapons long after they're useless, selling them only if I need money.

You realize that MP is not infinite, right? And that you can't buy Ethers? - Screw Potions, I'll abuse healing spells in just about any RPG I play. I find/steal enough MP restoratives anyway, and I can always head back to town to rest in an inn. Morrowind is the only exception to this; I almost never use any magic outside of Alteration, Mysticism, and Illusion in that game, relying on self-made potions and resting for health.

"Dude, I can see you, and we're using grenades." - Like DarkSlaya, I use stealth in most FPSes that I play. Unfortunately, I suck at it. The above quote is from a friend when we were playing GoldenEye...

Haha, I'm not the only one either! Except my element is always, always Lightning for some reason. It's not even stronger most of the time, especially in games like FFTactics. And in Morrowind, I always have a gigantic collection of magical items on me at all times, even if I only use one sword.

My only Nu Mou died permanently once in FFTactics Advance, so I reset my game and fought like ten battles to get to the point where I was before because I hadn't saved. I didn't want to lose my only one, of course...

And then there's my personal custom: I always jump to places, never really run. I'm convinced that jumping allows me to go faster than running does in many games, so I tend to use that instead of run. In River City Ransom EX, for example, I'll take to the skies just for the hell of it. I have this weird thing for jumping.

But the guy can't say that you "can't" get a birth control pill, or whatever you're talking about. He is saying that he will not provide it. It is the responsiblity of the patient to acquire the drugs which have been prescribed him by the doctor.

Unless they will not fill it knowing there is nowhere else to get it filled, and/or refuse to return the prescription, meaning you've gotta go back to your doctor for another one.

If you object to birth control, don't become a pharmacist. Period. End of fucking discussion.

Remember, I am not talking about whether a pharmacist should sell birth control pills, but I am talking about whether the government should force a pharmacist to. You keep bringing up these scenarios where no pharmacist would fill a birth control pill prescription. I don't buy those scenarios; I believe that if there is a market for birth control pills (and there is a very large market), then there will be people willing to satisfy this market. People trying to get prescriptions should be fine--it is a simple matter of you taking responsibility for your own life and finding the places that do dispense birth control pills. It is also my belief that just because you choose to open a pharmacy, that doesn't mean that the government should be able to force you to sell things that you don't want to.

Also, regarding the pharmacist taking your slip away and refusing to give it back, I already responded:

In the cases where the pharmacist takes the prescription slip and withholds it from the patient, the rightful owner of that prescription slip, then the pharmacist is violating that patient's private property rights. Using that case [of pharmacists refusing to give prescription slips back] as an argument does not really contradict the concept of private property rights, as none of us here are saying that only businesses have them.

The fact that you didn't see my point, which I already posted, regarding the pharmacist taking the slip away, I think, shows how little you understand the concept of private property and the rights of people to their own things.

I think you're sorta missing the point here... These situations are borne from times when pharmacists have the means (i.e. have birth control pills in stock and ready to dispense) but will not give them to perscribed users. You're talking about general refusal to stock, rather than sell. This isn't an argument of inventory, it's an argument of some pharmacist being an asshole and letting someone become pregnant because they don't believe in selling what they actively have the power to sell.

It's really times like this when I have to wonder where religion is based in argument. I mean, the purpose of religion is to give people a set of guidelines toward making life better for themselves nad those around them, right? And to give people a reason to be good so that they have a reward for their good deeds later on?

What kind of "good deed" is it to watch a pregnant teen's life be ruined because of a technicality in your religion? Sorry to say it, but not every child is a blessing. Some people really do need birth control because they're not ready to have a child yet. In this day and age, it's necessary to allow people to be good in their own way without doing evil to others. Denying someone a need because of one's own personal beliefs is in direct contradiction to the purpose of religion. Many christians choose to lead by example, and allow others to see the good in their beliefs, but you're not going to get many believers if you allow people's lives to be ruined because of your beliefs.

People who work for a pharmacy are typically expected to follow that pharmacy's policies. If they violate those policies, then the owner of that pharmacy has a right to fire them, because of his private property rights.

Which is what's happened, and now the ex-pharmacists are crying persecution and getting laws passed to protect their dickheaded philosophies on their jobs.

Grey: Problem is those pharmacists would say "tough shit, stop having more sex than me". Maybe endometriosis sufferers, who find relief from BC, make for a better talking point?

I suppose, but at the same time most people assume the use of birth control is just that: for control over birth. It's not like a person can just say "oh, I use them for my period" and have the pharmacist believe them. Some people really are assholes like that. A perscription would allow someone to show that the proof is in the need for treatment, which makes me absolutely stumped as to why a pharmacist would deny a need in the first place.

Haha, I'm actually posting from my college orientation right now, just took a math placement test.

Ladies and gentlemen, as of today I am officially a double-major in Computer Science and Mathematics. Booya.

Grey stomped through the halls of the Acmlm's Board Sim Battle Arena Annex, angrily headded toward his former office. In his hand was clenched a small note with the words "EVICTION NOTICE" printed on the top in noticeably large letters.

Grey: "Eviction through promotion? You've got to be kidding me! This is madness! I've been reduced to living in the Cafeteria's pantry on a cot! What the hell am I supposed to do now?"

His footsteps released gunshot-like echoes of energetic sound as he powered through halls and halls of random NPCs and various retired Sim Battlers, pissed-off beyond all comprehensible reason at the Board staff's recent decision. Sure, he was a full mod now, but the office! The! Office! He had spent weeks retooling that Janitor's closet, and now he was being kicked out of it? And apparently full mods don't need an office? What the hell was that? Power in exchange for comfort, apparently......

"Dammit, in the very least let the guy prove he's worthy of the spot! Hey!"

Reaching his destination, the office of the Local Moderator (now moderators, apparently) of the Arena Annex, Grey threw open the door and angrily protested to however many of the local mods were in the office at the time, be they Cpubasic13 or Teddylot, he didn't care!

"You! Or Both of you! Or something!"

He pointed to Sim Battle Arena A, recently completely repaired and revamped thanks to the efforts of Samuel...

"I challenge you to a duel between mods! Take it or leave it, and at least prove to me that you deserve to rule all that is the Sim Battle! Now! Off!"

He snapped his fingers, and a splitsecond later appeared in the arena. He was clearly ready to kick some ass.

Grey: "You're gonna have to pack a little bit more of a punch if you want to hurt ME, Allaura..."

The energy balls do absolutely nothing to Grey: The sheer amount of energy coming from him interferes with the shower of bolts, disrupting them and rendering them nearly useless. Such small attacks, though large in number, weren't all that effective. (It'd be the equivalent of doing a multi-hit attack on a monster with incredibly high defense in an RPG: You'd get a bunch of 1s in rapid succession for damage)

Grey's hand flies to his side and whips open one of his excessively large pants pockets as he throws around himself a barrier of light energy. He also crouches slightly and places his free hand in a defensive stance, knowing there were really only two types of maneuver he'd have to deal with at this point.

OOC: STICKY'D!

Grey fumed with anger at William's statement...

Grey: "Pitiful? PITIFUL? I'm gonna show you pitiful, when I romp your arse to the moon with swift vengeance! When I get through with you, you're gonna NEED Teddylot to help you peel yourself off the floor!"

His eyes glowed a deep, royal green as he expressed his rage physically... A rush of bright, white energy filled the air, and instantly Grey was clothed differently; His coat was red, made of thin PVC. His beard was trimmed nearly to his skin, and his glasses went from their weak perscription to a pair of stylish sunglasses. Today was obviously a good day for costumes.

Grey didn't bother to waste any further words. He just slapped his hands on the ground, and bolts of electricity swirled around them as he ripped from the ground a blade made of the clean, highly dense marble that Shadow Sam had used to create the arenas. It was wickedly curved and sharp, perfect for cutting in nearly every way. The only notable disadvantage to using it (unless you were Grey, that is), was that the hilt of the blade was slightly weighted towards Grey's hands and away from the blade, as Grey was used to that amount of control on his swords.

With his newfound weapon in hand, Grey blazed toward William, leaving a stream of destroyed marble and traces of white-hot energy behind him as he ran, coming in for a hard downward slash that radiated explosive power!
