| While I agree with what everyone else is saying, especially Grey, I'd like to add Beyond Good and Evil, which is availible for all three major consoles and PC. It's kinda short, and it's not an RPG, but it's excellent. And even though you said you aren't worried about money, BG&E's price is only $20 most places. Also, for a mixture of old-school beat 'em up and RPG, look into River City Ransom EX for the GBA. It's a remake of the NES classic River City Ransom which even manages to surpass the original. |

| The gas station (one of them) across the street from my school carried Jolt for a while. I don't recall seeing Electric Blue, but I bought the normal Jolt and the Cherry Bomb regularly. It saddens me that they stopped selling it  |

Minagi: You won't be joking once we find where you've hidden the third gem. Sailor Venus: *turns to Draco* Do you ever get tired of being ignored? Draco: Every single day of my life. ---------- Meanwhile, in Melvin's former office... Haruko was relieved to have been untied after she and her captors found out she was pregnant... That part still bothered her though. How could she be this far along in her pregnancy so soon after she and Jack er... "moved in together"? Smithy stood behind her, making sure she didn't try anything... SLICK was still sitting in Melvin's chair facing the opposite direction. Not once had she yet caught a glimpse of him. A screen had been pulled down over the window. On it, a pale-skinned man with white hair and yellow eyes with red pupils was having a conversation with SLICK. SLICK: Capturing them wasn't part of the plan. Kagato: Until I get that gem, your personal vendetta can wait. SLICK: Don't forget, Kagato, all I have to do is press a button and that bracelet will return you to a more... "restful" state. Kagato: ... SLICK: Alright, you can interrogate them about the gem, but just remember- Kirbynite is mine. Haruko: *thinking* ~Kirbynite?~ SLICK: Hmm... | Quint: ... Electric bills? ---------- Meanwhile, behind Skull Tower... A cord can be clearly seen leading from the back of the building to a small hut. The camera moves to inside the hut, where ElecMan, SparkMan, and BrightMan are sitting on a couch. The cord is plugged into them, as is a television which they are watching. BrightMan: *reaches over to an ice chest on the side of the couch* Who needs a refil? ElecMan and SparkMan: Me! BrightMan: *pulls out three Jolts, and tosses one to ElecMan* Hey, Spark, thank fast! *throws one at SparkMan* SparkMan: Ha! *tries to catch it, but due to having needles instead of hands, punctures the bottle* Grr... That wasn't funny the last one hundred and forty seven times you did it, and it's still not funny now! BrightMan: Yeah, says you. *pulls out another two Jolts, puts them in SparkMan's beer helmet, and tosses the bottles that were there* |

| Kagato: Do you two really think I'm that naive? You know, perhaps I should get SLICK on the videophone so we can persuade you through... alternative means, if you catch my meaning. Jack: *snaps out of it* ... You kidnap Haruko... Kagato: I didn't do that, SLICK did. Jack: You capture and torture me.... Then you threaten Haruko and our unborn child! JDavis: Daughter. Jack: That's three strikes- Jack's tube suddenly bursts apart. The shards from it jab into the neighboring tubes (Kirb's and Melvin's), but do not break them. Kagato and Minagi block the shards with their energy shields. When the dust clears, Jack is standing in front of where his tube was... He appears to be larger, more muscular, his clothes more tightly fitting. Also his eyes are solid white, his wings are spread out to their full length (blocking the view of Kirb and Melvin), and it appears as if wind is blowing upward from his feet, causing his hair, clothes, and feathers to sway back and forth a little. Jack: And you're out! ((OoC JDavis: *animefall* I'd like to say that's one of the worst pieces of dialog I've written... But there's worse in The Coming of Darkness  )) |

| JDavis: It only worked because of the tube's structural integrity already being weakened by the shards. Now hurry up and get the rest of us out! Washu: The green right triangle at the base is the release. Jack and Minagi glare at each other for a moment. Minagi begins to hover in the air. Suddenly, the two dive at each other, fighting in the air as they circle about one another. In the shuffle, Kagato is knocked across the room by one of Jack's wings. Minagi, realizing there's not enough space in the room, flies upwards, shifting through the ceiling. Jack follows her, the material of the ceiling visibly bending to allow his passage before returning to normal. |

| Kagato sits up, allowing Melvin's blade to stab clear through his throat. He then leans to one side and the gaping hole in his neck instantly heals itself. Kagato: Nice try. JDavis: It took the power of the Light Hawk Wings to defeat him last time Suddenly a crackling sound his heard coming from JDavis' pants. JDavis: *pulls out communicator* Fem, is that you? Fem: Yes. Listen up, earlier we were able to bypass the energy barrier to allow communications, but that was all. So you can imagine my surprise when you guys suddenly appear on the tracking radar. JDavis: Eh? What are you talking about? Fem: By these readings, you're currently on a large ship passing through the atmosphere, JDavis: You mean we're headed into space!? |

Washu: Microscopic repair-bots were one of the first features I implemented into the Souja's design. Suddenly two Washu puppets appear on either of Washu's shoulders. | "Heh, heh, heh..." Everyone turned in the direction of the rather audible laugh. ???: Not only are you wrong about this room being empty, yellow rat, but the robots you sense in front of you are by no means RMs. Suddenly the lights turned on, revealing the room to be FAR larger than anyone first guessed. The dome-shaped ceiling of the room, a good three stories above our heroes, was made up of many windows. One would be able to see the night sky through it, except that it had begun to rain and thus all that was visible was darkness and the water running down the glass. Opposite our heroes stood the evil genius Dr. Wily. Behind him, in a cage embedded into the wall and raised a good eight feet off of the ground, were Protoman, Megaman, Roll, and Kalinka Cossack. The four captives were bound at the wrists and ankles by cuffs made of met alloy (easily determined by them clearly being the slightly orangish yellow color of unpainted met alloy). The bars of the cage were similarly made of met-alloy. Ran: Mommy! Kalinka: Ran! |

| Wily: Wrong again, rat. There's no machine involved here! Wily quickly presses a button on the wall. A small circular opening in the floor opens and a platform carrying what appears to be a normal metool helmet raises to be even with the floor. Quint: ... A metool? Suddenly the helmet raises up, but it is no normal metool inside... Instead of the usual big white eyes with black pupils there are to seemingly luminous yellow circles- just like the Dark Matter! The "metool" goes back under its hat, and Dark Matter begins to seep out from underneath it. Soon there's a HUGE blob of Dark Matter, and it raises up to take the form of a Yellow Devil. The metool hat sinks inside of it. Wily: Hehehe! Dark Devil, destroy them! ... Wily: ... Wily:  ... Wily: *points at our heroes* DESTROY THEMDark Devil: *turns around and glares at Wily* Wily: Gah! Wily falls down and holds one hand up in a sort of protective manner as he crawls backwards. Wily: I don't understand! It should be obeying me! The Dark Devil swiftly slams its hand down onto Wily. A second latter a large bulge can be seen moving up the Dark Devil's arm. Quint: Dad! The Dark Devil glances at Quint, then turns around to face him. The form of Wily (wearing the metool hat) starts to protrude from the top of the Devil's head... However, his eyes are glazed over and he's obviously no longer himself. ((OoC JDavis: It's about time! | Melvin and Smithy's blasts make several large holes in the Devil, but they quickly fill back up. Ran: The eye is always in the center! *jumps up in the air* "COSSACK BUSTER!" A huge beam of plasma energy erupts from Ran's buster. It goes straight through the Devil, leaving only a thin circular rim connecting the limbs and Wily. The mechanical "eye" flies out, across the room, crashing into the wall and breaking into many pieces. The wall also seems to absorb the blast from Ran's buster. Ran: Yay! I did it! Quint: Wow, the walls in here must contain some amount of met alloy... Protoman: Why do you think we haven't just broken through the non-barred walls of this cage? Draco: ...I don't buy it. Jack: Hmm? Draco: That was too easy... JDavis: Relax, Drac- Everyone suddenly stopped and watched as the pieces of the Dark Devil start to regroup. JDavis: But... how... it...? Gutsman: I guess the eye wasn't really controlling it. Duo: In such a large amount, one would require a huge amount of power to control the Evil Energy... That "eye" device would be insufficient. Quint: But obviously, Dad didn't realize that... |

"I did it all for Tanooki"  Edit: Oh, and Tanuki are actually dogs, not racoons. Raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) is a member of the canid family and is considered to be a species of dog although they are often confused with raccoons and badgers.
