| You thought Golden Sun was a medium? I thought it was easy, I didn't even notice that the final boss was the final boss. Seriously, I thought it was just another fight against those recurring people until I beat them, then I realized I had hit the end of the game. Never played Golden Sun 2 though. I like my RPGs long and challenging, and I DO like the kind of games where you touch the boss and your entire party dies, the memory card explodes and your PS2 gets horribly maimed. It really has been so long since I played one of those, I think the last truly challenging RPG I've played was Earthbound, and then only because I was so young when I played it. Comedy's also an issue in RPGs, if I can't laugh at the game I don't really wanna play it. FF6 was way overdramatic at times, but then you had guys like Edgar and the Mogs bringing in some lightheartedness. Earthbound was the funniest RPG I've ever played, and I still play it today. Now I wanna tackle Albert Odyssey, cause I heard it's so funny. Sometimes challenge doesn't exactly equate to entertainment, that's where comedy comes in. |

| Count me in! You might just make pokemon interesting to me again, if that's the case. But what about special defensive items (EG. Guard spec. Seemed pretty useless in game, when it comes down to brass tacks)? Or buffs? Buffs never really seemed impressive to me in the Pokemon games, and when it comes to challenge, they never made the game easier unless your foe used one and wasted a turn against you. Is that gonna get tweaked? | |||

| Driven into the sky by the jet of water, Janus uses every last ounce of his concentration to recall his hammer to him, in hopes of landing safely on the ground. The hammer hurtles towards Janus, rising higher and higher in the air, but is repelled by the jets of water. Falling fast, Janus slams heavily into the wet, soft mud, his hammer landing neatly by his side. Janus: "Sh.. Shit.... what the hell was that...?" Janus wearily picks himself up, weakened heavily and severely hurt by the long fall. He picks up his hammer and gets into a faint guard stance, walking toward Tawq and stumbling as he steps. "It... It's a good thing that I know how to fall from far distances... But damn, that knocked me around a bit... You really are strong, I'm proud to count you among my friends. I'm messed up, wanna call it a day? I'm glad I was able to spar with someone as strong as you. I'll be true to my word, and leave you in peace now. But rest assured, this doesn't mean I won't keep my word to you." Janus limps over to Tawq, extending a dirty, battered hand in friendship. "Wherever I see human destruction, I'll stop it. I'll fight to restore this world to its former state, and to make sure the damage to your civilization is redeemed. Even if I am but one man, know that I am one more man to help you. As fellows, and with the help of all who can assist you, I know we can do something!" |

| Ha, I'm not out yet! 1, 2, 3, and 4 aren't right, hell, 4 isn't even a triangle (one side's bigger than the other two combined). So I don't need to solve them right? 5's got sides 10, 10, and 14.1421 with angles 45, 45, and 90 respectively. |

Breaking a disc open, Janus reveals a torch from Morrowind and sets it in the ground, illuminating the area. All around him torches flare up as the area, a clearing in a jungle surrounded by torches (a la Survivor), is revealed. "There, that's better. I tell you, you warriors brood way too much. Get some Prozac or something! Mind, I'm not really here to fight, just to make sure you don't catch your opponent off guard. | Guess I might as well put in an official request then. I'd like a custom Long Game, The Whitelights or Janus vs. all 150 original Pokemon in succession, bosses would be Level 3 forms (IE Charizard, Blastoise, Dragonite, etc) with the final boss being Mewtwo. If you need a move list or pokemon list, I can provide one, and if you need any other information or request anything, I'll take care of it. The scene of the battle would be City Street, same as Teddylot's game. I know this is kinda rough, but since it'll be a long way off until my fight at this point there's a lot of time to prepare, and I can help you with anything you wish. If you could please do this for me I'd greatly appreciate it. I was thinking the Pokemon could come in category waves, like all fighting types at once culminating with Machamp as the boss, or all fire types at once with Charizard as the boss, etc. The final gauntlet would be the three legendary birds or the one of a kind pokemon that don't evolve (Electabuzz, Jinx, Scyther), leading up to the three Dragons, and then Mewtwo himself. | Woohoo, I finally have a car! Yes, ladies and gents, Grey is now mobile! It's a 1993 Mercury Topaz, brilliant condition, and get this, only 37000 miles on it! It's an 11 year old car with that mileage! I was amazed. My parents got it really cheap, too, and so far there's been no problem with it at all, I think I really lucked out. I have to pay insurance, but that's paltry when it comes down to the fact that I don't have to bum rides anymore! We sorta got me a car out of necessity, I have a crapload of after school activities, plus I work, so I couldn't keep asking my parents and sister to give me rides everywhere, since their lives are as busy as mine. I'm so happy! It's a nice little car, good to learn on, and it's so clean, too. I'm really really grateful, and words just can't describe the elation I felt when I got it. Plus, as a side bonus, I can finally get a new job instead of working at the restaurant I'm working at now. Or, better yet, I could get a second job and keep that job I have now! Man, this opens up so many opportunities for me. Shit, am I spoiled? |

| As for firepower effect, I love Marth's Meteor Smash, it's always fun to make your opponent think you're gonna miss and then hit them with the tip of the back of the attack and send them flying downward. For coolness, though, I gotta go with Kirby using a Warp Star attack (just the way he bounces out of it is badass), Young Link's Spin Attack (old Link's is OK but the multiple hits just make the attack seem like it hurts so much more), or Luigi's Tornado (depending on who uses it, it causes a LOT of mayhem). |

| OOC: Fairly incorrect, the bullet is normal sized, weighs 350 grams, travels at 3X10^3 meters per second, and is charged with 3.15X10^12 joules, which is about 1.3 tons of dynamite. In short, my friend, a small object has wrought a huge amount of energy. Also, the damn thing's traveling at light speed, how the hell are you gonna lasso it? And another thing, I'm not ignoring the massive pain that's coming from firing these things, you mind not ignoring the gigantic explosions erupting all around you? Bracing himself, Janus empties his clip (that's five more bullets), digging a Janus-shaped hole in the tree, the bark digging into his back but otherwise not hurting him (the tree is making an excellent brace). Janus sits on his bag and floats away from the scene of the battle, proud of his performance and glad he was able to meet a new friend. Looking down, he notices the giant craters he and Shadow managed to make. "Sheesh, this place looks like an episode of DBZ... Remind me to never do something like that again..." Janus takes his gun, closes his eyes, and opens them, glowing the same blue color. Almost instantly the gun disappears, never to be seen again. As Janus floats off into the sunset, he reflects, and wonders. Why does he fight? What is he fighting for? Will he regain his lost cause? Janus decides that he does not know the answer to any of this, but someday, he will find out. "Later, Shadow. You were definitely a challenge." |
