| Hehe, yes. I was like... "i need sleep, i should go back to bed, wait i post one more, there i should sleep now, wait one more, there...." All the night. Until 09:00 in the morning (for me, it was like 03:00 for the board) where it stopped. XD |

| E-mails aren't made for handling big files at all. Besides, attachments over 5 MB (heck I maybe even should say over 1 MB) should be rather uploaded on a site instead of being send over mail. And it took years before I used even 10 MB on another e-mail service, i'm not afraid of hitting the 1 GB cap, heck I probably wouldn't hit 100 Mb. |

| Ok From oldest to newest. A old computer which dad got from his job, a 486: Windows 3.1 DOS My first computer, a 486: Windows 95 DOS (I actually use more DOS than windows on this one... )The second computer I got, 400 mhz pentium II: Windows 98 DOS (rarely use it on that one) Fedora Core 2 (I use it alot) And on two computers which I just got recently: Windows 2000 Pro editon On the newest computer: Win XP Home edition And I have used Win2000 server and Win 3.1. I'm going to install Fedora core 2 on the newest computer as soon I feel comfortable in Linux. (Linux is not that hard, if you have enough time... )And if I had enough time, I would test more than one distro of Linux. (edited by ^_____ |

| Which Video/graphic card do you have? Try updating them. I had that problem... I installed the latest drives and it fixed it. |

| It's maybe is as good idea testing the server for security holes... SSH is a secure way to transfer data, it's encrypted. I think that some operations needs SSH on Jespers server. |

| Heh, I should rather say Advanced. But then Windows is advanced and powerful in it's own way. Better say that it's just very diffrent. Heck there is so many Linux distros that you should rather talk about the distros. (and after all, hey where did I say that Linux was more powerful than Windows? I said it was powerful, not more powerful than anything else...) I mostly have Linux for educational purposes right now, I probably will not migrate to Linux fully in the close future. It goes pretty smooth for me, but that's becuse I always look up on the internet as soon I get into a problem. If you DOS give you chills, you shouldn't even consider Linux. A computer dosen't get stronger than it's weakest chain, set up a server wrong and there will be alot of security flaws. And this hacker maybe is into more Linux hacking than Windows hacking. Some hackers have specialities and seems to prefer to hack one OS. BTW, which OS/distro is the most used on the servers? (edited by ^_____ |
