For those who use MSN Messenger, probably now is a good time to use another client for the time being or get a patch (if it has been released)

MSN Messenger Exploit Code Goes Public

Interestingly, the exploit is PNG related, so it seems that JPG is not the only format with embedded executable code...

have you even tried? i mean, security of my school's computer were very lax that you could install stuff. However, when the computer is shut down, the condition of the computer was in when it was started up that day was restored

as for balloon tips, it is something in the security center. I just turned everything off and the ballon tips stop popping up...

you should master it because the car you test in is one you provide. as for starting from a stop, you should practice. I think you need a big parking lot to practice in so you don't have to worry about stopping in the middle of nowhere if possible, is there another car in the house you can use? like an older vehicle? if so, i'd probably recommend that to you. My car was about 10 years old so it's very difficult to get it to lurch forward like you have described.

HH, for textpad, take a look at the settings they have for Java (install the java shortcuts even if you don't have it). Just do the same thing for gcc.

probably another piece of good advice is take your time--just don't take too much time since safety is number one. If it takes you five seconds to start going, then use it that time. Sometimes, going immediately can be dangerous because of red-light runners and such.

it they are devoting their time more to other internet technologies such as intelligent search and what not... the question of when IE7 comes out is answered the same way as for Duke Nukem Forever

it's probably around the corner--it'll be released in Japan first then find it's way to the States when sales either need a boost or Christmas is around the corner

hmm...so, it seems people are taking Internet Explorer into their own hands. That makes me wonder, is there anyone out there who will defend Microsoft? (Someone not officially with the company)

My first OS was MS-DOS, my first GUI was Quattro Pro. I can't remember when I started learning how to use the computer though. I remember I started out with Windows 3.0 until I got to middle school. By that point, I needed Windows 3.1.

I think the X part of the smiley needs to be more pronounced... also, the mouth needs to change somehow...it doesn't quite have the look of XD. Maybe once the X part is fixed, then it might work...

You can download the software from Texas Instruments. Then load the file into that software to view the source code. You can print the code from that software too. (I've done that before and I've never had a PC-to-calc cable either)

Well--when people are stressed, this tends to happen a lot because they can't take it anymore. So the smallest insignificant thing can touch them off because they need something to let it go I guess.

I can't remember the last time I overreacted about something trivial that was beyond my control...

This is the software. I had trouble installing it on SP2 though because of a 16-bit error

http://education.ti.com/us/product/accessory/connectivity/down/linkwin.html

Although, the files you find at www.ticalc.org should just be text files unless they are in UUE format (then you need to unpack them). If they are GRP, then you need the above software.

It's been a while since I last used the software but this is what I think you are looking for.

You can change the font by going to Tools->Preferences. In the resulting dialog box, there should be a node called "Document Classes" and under it should be "C/C++". Within C/C++ there should be node called Font and there you can change the font.

As for force wrapping, in the Command Results, I don't think so...

To me, what Microsoft did with XP was to bring the stability of NT with the ease of use of 9x/ME. Which is why probably a lot more things were hidden because a majority of people wouldn't use those features. For those who want to use it, they are still there--they just have to dig for it more. Microsoft aimed XP more to the 9x/ME people than the NT and that is the logical thing to do since they fashioned XP to be the next generation OS for the general public. Since when has NT been aimed to the general public? It never has. It has mostly been aimed towards companies who have logical reasons to use the features of NT. Otherwise, most people don't even bother messing with those advanced features which makes perfect sense of why they are probably difficult to get to (since most people do not need it). It is all about audience when designing a UI and in the case for XP, Microsoft was aiming towards more to the general public than the power users just as you and myself.
