The Black Shadow appears, but used his aura to make himself invisible to everyone. He floats there in a part of the area of the building, watching the two battlers fight eachother... sort of. He was amazed with Stephan's Alchemist ability. The only other person who had that type of ability was another Navi his brother met named MangaMan, who was based off as a painter, with different anime styled attacks as Battlechips. I wonder if I should attack or not... Nah, I better not, that Alchemist may do something if I interupt... the Navi thought to himself. He looked over at the guy's opponent... a clown acting like that Joker fellow from BatMan. "........." He covers his face in shame while sweatdropping, wondering how someone like him could fight with that type of style, He can't be considered a warrior... not with those clown antics... OOC: Don't take that seriously, my character is a cold hearted being... sometimes... |

I once did that to "avoid the glitch" when I was in one of those "ppl tick me off" kinda moods, but when I inserted ExGFX files that I download from the ExGFX Workshop, and insert them, same problem, only it inserts ExGFX from the starting point up to FFF, that somewhat freezes, which also raises the memory usage up to the point that the computer almost runs out physical memory and slows down on me. ![]() So far, the only "cure" I found of it was using the IPS file of Demo World or Demo World 3 (the one with the custom music) since it has custom blocks... then it works like nothing ever happen. Same with any other IPS file hacks with custom blocks. |

Nah. But Kei, the ROM (the clean one for an upcoming hack that may never get under way) works fine in the emulator. Like BMF says, its a weird bug that happens to me. I even virus scanned it for anything abnormal, which in terms nothing bad comes up in the scan report. Fu, maybe its something that the computer is doing, or god hates me. But I don't believe it, since I have to restart my computer once that glitch happens in the Lunar Magic Editor... ![]() |

Well, let's see now: First, all I did was grab a clean ROM, then I extract the GFX files, also clicking on ExGFX Extraction button to get the folder listen in the designated folder it's in. Usually by now, the LM editor would be doing the weird bug I stumbled upon, then freeze up.... but now it's no longer doing it... I dunno Fu... it works perfect now... but during the past few weeks, it's been giving me heck... ::Begins thinking:: I think I know how that bug happened... I think when I extracted the regular GFX first then insert it. It works like regular, then I clicked the ExGFX buttons, and thats when the thing "magically" began inserting ExGFX files. You know the rest from the past posts, around the 200 mark or so, it freezes, sometimes forcing me to restart because of "Not enough Vitural Memory"... ::Heavy sigh:: Incase you've been wondering, this all started when I decided to do a continuation on my Super Mario Universe hack called, "Super Mario Universe - The Millennium Project". I've been going on long enough now, I'm just gonna forget about this bug, hopefully it has[i/] gone away. This can be closed by a moderator if anyone wants to. |

Yes, this is the continuation of Super Mario Universe. As many liked playing my first hack, I decided to continue on, since the first hack is a to be continued thing... Ahh crap!!! ![]() I can't believe this is happening to me again, I tested the made IPS patch myself five times, and virus scanned it for any sort of problems that might of occured, and it works perfectly fine for me, yet to screws up for the rest of the fans of SMW here at Acmlm's Board. ..... ::slaps hand against forehead:: |

Thanks for that link SH, but I already have it, and before making the patch, I checked it and its an unmodified original ROM. I don't know what else could be wrong, damnit... ![]() I already sent a PM to Kei, but if anyone who wants this ROM to make the IPS patch with, PM me. |

Well, for those of who were able to get the file to work, I say the demo is a good one. I wanted to first have just six levels (including Yoshi's home), but then I just kept the beta levels for the extras on Donut Plains just for fun. This hack is a continuation of Super Mario Universe BTW for those who didn't know about it. The OW looks sorta plain, but in the final release, it will be much better, as well as a few more cameo apperances from other gaming universes... Also keep in mind that this is taking place in the tropics, which is a bit advanced in basic technology than Dinosaur Land... Aparent from the glitches, I've alrteady dealt with them in my final release, though I won't be working as much since I'm already in college... x.x And bringing Yoshi into the first Lookout Tower would be a bad part on your guys' case, since there's castle based enemies, it doesn't support yoshi's tounge sprite which makes it a bit... weird. |

Nah... that would take away the cool color feel out. Other than that, the SS's look great... keep the BGs, replace the FG with the tilesets from the actual game for each zone and the levels... just a sugesstion... ![]() |

Yeah, it's finished on the final release one. It's supposed to be an easy "normal" exit.... the secret, well.... you'll have to go the opposite way for the secret. But don't try that in the demo. | |||

That looks, interesting to say the least. If only the creators at Nintendo left that part in, then some levels can be used with elevators without ASM, but thats just me rambling... ![]() I even tried that out, with a Message Block. All the screens look absolutely awesome here. The one with the gory Toad heads shoved through chains and the blood is great. Why not add some blood leaks that come from some of the heads? That would be cool. |
