At first, my mom didn't want to buy the NES because she thought I would spend all my time playing with it, but then at some point my dad went and bought it anyway. My dad was the one who played with it the most at first since me and my brother weren't really good at any of the games. I remember when Super Mario Brothers 3 came out my dad played it all day and finished it on the same day. Besides that, my parents played Tetris and Doctor Mario from time to time. Now my dad plays World Of Warcraft all the time, and my mom doesn't really play games.

My grandfather also played NES when I was younger, and my oldest uncle recently got a Gameboy Advance SP with a couple of games.

I saw it a year or two ago. It was interesting to watch, and it was fun to see a moogle and a chocobo in a show. However, it wasn't really spectacular. I have seen alot of shows which I find better than Final Fantasy Unlimited.

I tried to find some, but I wasn't very lucky. I think your best bet would be to try and rip the sounds from the actual game(s).

Name: Alexandre Timbro
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Area of expertise: Design and Animation
Skills: Programming, Animating, Producing
Highest Obtained power level: Local Moderator of Game Creation Centre and Online Gaming (2002 - 2004)
Forum(s) to Moderate and why: Game Creation Centre
I have used most of the popular tools used to create games and I can easily find answers to questions related to these tools. I also know ways to get the different parts of games completed since I have worked on a few small projects myself.

Recommendations: N/A (tell me?)

Well, I may not be a very active member, but I still take a short while everyday to check new threads, and once in a while I reply to them. I have been at Acmlm's board ever since Acmlm opened it in 2001 and I have never gone against the rules during that entire time. I may have spammed once or twice, but that was probably in the first days when everyone was spamming anyway.

Game Creation Centre may not be an active forum, but it stills gets some activity, and I think that it should be moderated as much as the other forums. I have seen bumped threads and threads about things which have already been answered, but every time it would take a while before anything happened since not many members visit that forum. Everyday I check Game Creation Centre to see if a new thread has been posted, and while doing that I can make sure that questions are answered.

When I was local moderator before, the only thing that was ever said about me was that I wasn't very active. That is still true, but if I were to become a moderator again, I would make an effort to post more often. I would make sure that questions which have already been answered regarding game creation would not be repeated by making a list of links to these answers and other resources.

Finally, I know that other people could easily take the time to check Game Creation Centre to make sure everything was ok, but since I already take the time to check it everyday, then I could just moderate it at the same time.

I've never really tried many games with ePSXe, but from searching around a little, I found out that Chrono Cross runs better with ePSXe 1.5.2. There also seems to be other problems with the game and some places suggested setting the framebuffer access to 3.

I never really skipped any classes in High School because my school would follow you around like crazy if you ever happened to be absent. Sometimes I was a little bored, but my school only had 4 periods a day and school would finish early.

However, I do skip some classes in college, but most of the time the ones I skip are labs which I can just do at home or at another time.

You could always try to record the sounds with a microphone while playing the game on the actual console. If you put the sound loud enough and the microphone far enough from the speakers, it should record it properly enough.

There wasn't any problem with that. Even if Cruel Justice is banned until June 1st, he can still see the replies to this thread. Furthermore, since he is banned by request, he will probably be coming back, and once he does, he can see the replies to the thread at that time.

However, he originaly posted this in November of 2004, but since no one had replied at the time, the information you posted is still useful for other people who may want to know how to do this.

I don't really like it when it's too warm outside, or when it's raining, but I do like it when it gets windy, so I went ahead and voted for wind.

In the end, all of these elements are useful. We wouldn't be able to live without any of them.

I sometimes login from school when I'm bored, but that doesn't happen very often. Most of the time I'll just login to see if anyone has replied to something I posted.

Finding some of the more common sonic sounds shouldn't be too hard, but if you want I have some of the sounds from the older Sonic games. You can find them here.

It's not very easy to find a free 3D Game engine, but if you want you can check this page: http://www.ambrosine.com/resource.html

It gives a list of different engines which can be used to make games. I haven't checked most of them, but I did notice that alot of them can use 3D. I'm sure if you try a few of them you will be able to find one which is good for you.

I searched on google and found a website with some sonic charsets, you may find some of them useful:
http://charas-project.net/resources.php - Charsets

The site also has some battlechars:
http://charas-project.net/resources.php - Battlechars

There are also some sonic facesets, but none of all three characters. The best way to get one may be to simply make one.

The problem with this forum is that there's a very small a amount of threads, so if you only go down 15 or so, you'll already be in the threads from two months ago.

Posted on 06-13-05 06:28 AM, in I HAVE SUNBURN! Link
I once got a horrible sunburn on my back. It was very annoying and it lasted over a month. However, ever since then I have never gotten a sunburn on my back no matter how long I stay in the sun. I have gotten sunburns at other places, but never on my feet, and I've never even heard of someone with a sunburn on their feet before.
