Yoou have got to be kidding. You have all of the data?

I just now found hte locations for 1 through 49... argh.

I still don't know everything about the format either, but enough to edit levels...

[Levels.dat 0.49 coming soon]

Well I don't know where any of the data is either...the format looks almost simple, but right now I doubt I would have time to attempt an editor. It also looks like there might be a table like in Joshua defining the room data pointers.

my way would be

Option Explicit

DIM fCont() as Byte

open "" for binary as #1
redim fCont(lof(1))
get #1,,fCont
close #1

this will load allt he bytes up in a array called fCont().

Do you know where any of the mapdata is for Guantlet 2? I was almost thinking of doing an editor for that game.

Mine ummm...well usually if I am eating fast food it is McDonalds, but at times I will go to the Mall Of America to get like Panda Express or some other fast food place in the food court. Mostly if I am eating out I am eating at a hang out place of mine called Flameburger.

No doubt the 1st Mega Man always influenced me. If I would vote for any other original on it would probably be 2. Over all 3 was a dull one in my mind...too too much time, but some of the music was ok from it...

It does have a Sprite/Tile editor. I am going to release verry soon ASAP probably in 1 hour a Versaion 0.5.1 which I found a MAJOR bug while editing all the levels...this new version will clear this up.

After all, enemies ALWAYS kill normal enemies in one hit, the wave beam will ALWAYS do double damage, and the ice beam will ALWAYS freeze the enemy every other shot... I really can't see a need for the programmers to code for any other situation than that, unless it's a boss.

There should be...find the source that SnowBro did...you might find something...
