gonna have to agree that he's probably 68, I don't think he'd age in dog years, and it really shows in his maturity level that he hasn't aged much mentally.

I like Inuyasha and DBZ best, but I also watch pretty much whatever else is on adult swim.

I've never seen any of the japanese episodes but I have read a couple of the mangas, and they are much better than the american episodes.

case closed is an interesting anime, I've watched every episode i could that was on cartoon network before they started showing reruns. anyone notice everywhere conan and rachel go someone ends up dead? there can't be that much killing over in Japan can there? and there's no simple cases either, there's never just 'some guy shot someone out of randomness', it's always 'some guy killed this other guy with a staple and peice of chicken for ticking him off'. but i geuss it wouldn't be so interesting without those cases, would it?

to me it seems like an opinion thing. even before I finished it, I liked it more than I liked VII. but some people dislike certain factors about VIII, and that's ok, they don't have to like it, they just shouldn't bash it, because it is a good game. I mean, i agree that it was incredibly easy to abuse the battle system (I hit Ultimecia with like 8 Lionhearts and 4 Shooting stars during the span of the battle because of Aura), but I liked the storyline a lot. the music from the final battle was great (I mean the very last part, the music that started off like vincent's them from VII) and for it's time it had some really good cinema scenes.

I liked VII's Materia system, that was the best part and I wish they carried that over to other final fantasy games. I don't really think people overrate this game as much as they used to. IMO, some parts of it are better than systems used in later games. it's a very good game, the storyline is great, with some minor things left unsaid, but I like it better that way since it let's your imagination take it from there. like I said, materia is the best part IMO.

because whatever joe wiped his face with was probably covered in dirt and stuff after working in a coal mine all day? Clem wouldn't bother wiping his face because it wouldn't make his face any cleaner.

depends on your definition of 'weak'. he got a girlfriend in 4, and if you consider having someone to care about and protect, then you could say he got weaker as most villians tend to do in that situation. I can't think of any situation where he got weak, since I've played all of the Mega Man X games (1-7) and haven't come across a situation where he got weak, just one where he got destroyed, as said before. he seemed to get near-destroyed in the end of 5 as well, so idunno, it depends how you look at it.

I loved that world where you were small, that just cracked me up the first time I saw it.

I hated world 5 though,I started playing SMB3 when I was like 7, and I was stuck at some level (I can't remember what level it was), and I put the game down. I only recently revisited the game and finally beat it.

Posted on 09-18-04 12:20 AM, in looking for a good new video game, help me out Link
I'm looking for people who are very knowledgeable on the subject to tell me what the best investment is and why. Money is not an issue, i have plenty enough for any game out there. I have an X-box, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Gameboy advance SP, SNES, and N64, so whether or not I can play the game shouldn't be an issue either. I'm basically looking for something i can pick up from a local store, not anything overseas.

I'm looking to find a good RPG first off, let's hear everyone's opinions on that.

I can't name THE worst day of my life off the top of my head, but I can name one of the worst.

my girlfriend had dumped me a week before, she said it was because her parents told her to break up, which was understandable I geuss, because I was 17 and she was 15. I really had strong feelings for this girl, and it made me very sad that I couldn't be with her anymore. a week after she dumped me, one of her friends Instant Messaged me and after some small talk I found out she had dumped me to go out with some other guy. the rest of my day sucked after I heard that, nothing went right, and I was really angry at everything in general. so it was a really bad day.

I hate when

people don't use deodorant
people don't give me good directions, so I look like a fool when i get lost.
People are Hypocrites (I know most everyone does something hypocritical once in a while, including me, but I stilll hate it.)
People say they'll do something, but make it obvious to you they won't do it, right in front of you because they know you can't do anything about it.

I haven't been on starcraft in a while, because my mom fixed our computer so that I can't access battlenet during the school year . it ussually has DarkFenix and something after it, I don't really remember what my last one was, lol. it's funny someone should mention name stealing, because as soon as I started using this name on starcraft I started seeing a lot of people with the prefix 'Dark' in front of their name. maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it isn't, I don't really know, don't really care.

edit: plus my name is reffering to the Starcraft character, Fenix, the zealot hero. if you're not familiar with starcraft, he was more or less killed by the Zerg (bug-like alien creatures), when the other Protoss (other alien beings, they favor psychic and psionic powers over brute strength) found him his body was completely mangled, so they put what was left of him in a beefed up Dragoon body (a dragoon is this 4 legged machine with a big plasma cannon, run from the inside by crippled zealot warriors. it's kind of like a light tank, but without treads). so in a sense, Fenix was ressurected from the dead like the Mythical bird, which is probably why they named him so similarly.

pretty much self explanatory. I'm trying to find more people who play starcraft, and then maybe we can talk about general starcraft strategy, since there are no other posts (that i can see) that are talking about starcraft.

hmm, I agree that it's stupid of Square to be making sequals. anyone notice that it all started with Square merging with Enix? it might have started before that, I'm not sure. but you have to admit they left FFX open for a sequal, with that final scene of Tidus swimming somewhere after he supposedly disappeared, but X-2 was messed up, I agree. they could have just left it at that, and never made X-2. I hope this sequal to VII is much better than X-2, otherwise I'm gonna be ticked.
