| Has anyone seen the new Toonami preview commercial? -Absolute shit- Sums it up best I think. Besides that though ... who's keeping up with this series? I'm still reading both the Manga and watching the anime. The manga is just getting fantastic in my opinion, if you haven't read any of it or at least the latest ones, you're really missing out. And right now the show is in a filler, but from the looks of the recent couple of episodes it seems like it'll be pretty good actually. Both manga and anime are doing good in my opinion. ... until they hit Toonami. |

| I think this filler arc will actually be a good one, IMO all the others weren't that great. Im no longer keeping up with the manga but I cant wait until the anime resumes the story, because the upcoming parts look very interesting. I dont think im gonna watch the anime on Toonami, not because I dont think it will be good but because seeing the anime in English will just be too different. | |||

| No, I like Digimon because it was one of the first anime that got me into anime. After seeing the Japanese version, however, I realized that anime gets edited, alot, when translated for TV. I'll still watch subbed Digimon, if only to rememeber what it was like when I first saw the show. |

Johnny Yong Bosch as Naruto (Vash from Trigun) Mark Hildreth as Sasuke (Heero from Gundam Wing) Rachael Lillis as Sakura (Misty from Pokemon) Steven Jay Blum as Kakashi (Spike from Cowboy Bebop) Eric Stuart as Gaara (Kaiba from Yu Gi Oh) Source Am I supposed to laugh? | No, I haven't forgotten that. The shock of Gaara = Kaiba was just too much shock at one time. Not that this is any better... If memory serves, Bosch was the 2nd Black Ranger after some of the first kids left the show, then took over as the Green Ranger in later incarnations. |

| I see a few things wrong with your logic, D. 1) Well, apparently I care.  2) We both know we'll be watching at least ONE episode of the dub, to assess the damage. 3) Spoiler: The Fuuma Clan arc was a filler. Filler arcs don't count. I wouldn't take them too seriously, as we all know they suck in retrospect. 4) I have never really understood how people watching it can ruin a series. At most, stupid fans can make it a bit uncool to watch a series (along with bad dubs), but that's about it. 5) Obviously the further you stray from the base material, the more retarded the result will be. We've seen this before with DBZ (in more ways than one). There will still be fresh raws coming out for both the anime and manga, so it's not like Naruto will be crushed to oblivion once the english dub comes out. |

| I agree. 3.) Spoiler: Filler doesn't always have to be bad. If you look at anime like City Hunter or in a more familiar vein, Cowboy Bebop, it's ALL FILLER. (With Bebop, it didn't work as well because, well, it really needed more episodes based on the story) With Naruto, filler is always bad because we all know why they're doing it-- to make money. They know people will watch it even if it sucks. So that gives me more reason to be pissed. 4.) Because then you don't have to worry about what other people think as much. When tons of people watch a show like Naruto, you know a lot of them are misinterpreting it because a lot of them will be anime nubs who were drawn in by the show's charms. But they start watching for the wrong reason. It spoils the cultivation cycle of fresh otaku. |

| Uzumaki my friend....even on a 56k connection it's still very possible to download the Naruto manga, rather than watching the English dubs which in turn will destroy a wonderful series for many people, why not read the manga? (Im kinda questioning my punctuation in the above paragraph....) In my personal opinion its a much more authentic look on the series, than the Toonami version will be, but its up to you. Naruto filler arcs are sub par at best, what gets me is that theres so many other characters that fillers could be based around, but they never stray from the main crew.
