It's like Chocolate Island 3 in the original-you have to find the secret exit.

The secret exit is really not that hard to find. There's a platform below the platform that the goal is on, so you drop down where the goal is. Here you'll find the key, then hitch a ride on the brown platform and you're home free.

The level is Sky World 5, the one with the cloud ExGFX and some things from SMB3. That's the only place you could get stuck on, anyway.

No no no, you don't understand. It wasn't that I just stopped at Candyland; the colors in it gave me migraines. That's why I stopped; not because it sucked, but because it was ridiculously painful to play.

I think it's time for me to post I guess...

To Kyouji: Nobody cares about your opinion. You basically trash EVERY hack. Heck, you would even trash Demo World: The Legend Continue and tell everyone it's a glitched, uninspired mess! Furthermore, I see nothing wrong with that screenshot. If you tought this was bad... then you seen NOTHING!

To SMWExpert: Your ExGFX would be very nice... if it wasn't glitched. While it's nothing unplayable, it doesn't look professional and make guys like Kyouji go beserk. Fix that. I think that the overworld is very nice... but for some reason, the paths on my game are glitched. Is it my computer's or the hack's fault?

My review of the hack...

GFX: (5/10) Extremely well done and creative... when it's not helplessly glitched. While it's nothing unplayable, there seem to be a lot of GFX problems!

Sound (7/10) The music fits each area pretty well... exept for a couple of stages but that's all. There's no new music but becease of the difficulties involved in spc. hacking...

Gameplay (7/10) The meat of the game! The level design is actually good. The hack is pretty balanced overall even if there's a few too easy/too hard stages. There's a few stages where the glitches keep the player from progressing but, fortunately, no glitches I encountered were impossible to bypass.

Overview (7/10) Once the glitches will be fixed, this will be a masterpiece (and will have the advantage over the other hacks of being completed!). Don't let the glitches impress you. This hack is fun and it is all that matters.

I don't trash every hack. I have only trashed two hacks. And you must admit this sucks.

And I like DW:TLC.

I like SMO, too.

I like SMW+3.

I like SMW+4.

I like Mario's Fun Levels.

I like good hacks. I do not like the kind of shitty hacks everyone's been handing out lately with shit ExGFX and graphics that don't fit in the least. So quit your whining. And no, the paths are glitched, it's not just you. In fact, you seemed to notice a lot of glitches. But no, you say I call it glitched for no reason anyway. YOU'RE A FUCKING HYPOCRITE. And if blue on red on yellow with patches of green doesn't hurt your eyes, you must've been born to a guy with 40/20 vision and a woman who was the friggin pope in a past life.

It's a bit over average I think, which is pretty hard when there are so many good hacks around, but the GFX and palettes kind of makes it feel a bit worse. Behold:

"The ExGFX are perfectly fine, as anyone with eyes can see." I think anyone with eyes would rather like to, upon seeing that, not have eyes.

To Jesper: redownload the hack. The title screen is NOT glitched on my computer.

NOTE: The first link in this thread lead to the glitched version. Download using the other link (page 2 I think).

Also... I think that I shall stop posting. I've said my opinion and I don't want to turn this into a flame war.

YOU DOWNLOADED IT BEFORE I FIXED IT!!!!

Sometime yesterday I fixed it with LIPS, you should patch it with that too. Before that, the ExGFX were messed up. I tested the new one TWICE, and the ExGFX are perfectly fine. So anyone with ExGFX problems, download the IPS again and patch it with LIPS, as Zerodius said. The candyland is too bright? Candyland 1 and 2 are the only ones that have that, and 2 has a very dark background...so it sort of contrasts. I'm the sort that likes contrasting.

Alright, if you want, I'll overlook the ExGFX. As it turns out I got the one that wasn't glitched, but I'll still overlook it for now.

But the fact remains that several overworld paths are also glitched. For instance, while ULTIMATE CHALLENGE is easy enough, beating it does absolutely nothing. (To be honest, I was half-expecting special world.) I dunno, maybe it just seems easy because I recently beat SMW+3, which was fucking HELL. But whatever.

You say your hack gets good around world 4. Too bad it's quite literally impossible to pass DINO SEA SWAMPS for the same reason as ULTIMATE CHALLENGE.

I don't do direct patching, I pop it in the ZSNES dir and make a new Mario.smc with the same name.

I was actually quite convinced I did have the latest version because that link was posted by the time I downloaded it, but I suppose it's possible I never replaced it.

But as for the IPS differences, I recall LIPS have a word or two of a bug in SNESTool on its site. *checks* Yep: "the IPS encoder avoids the rare "0x454F46 (EOF) offset bug" that SNESTool's IPS encoder has.". So in other words, if any of the programs are buggy, SNESTool is probably it.

Dino Sea Swamps....The cave part is the only one that is actually hard. The last falling yellow platform DOES NOT go into the lava. You can stand on it. Go to the left edge, get a running start, make sure Mario's holding his hands out, and jump to the pipe. It's possible, but I'm making it easier for the next release. It won't come out for a while, so I'm not making any promises.
