Ashita no Joe(Anime) - 1970-'71 Ashita no Joe 2(Anime) - 1980-'81 Ashita no Joe(Manga) - 1968-'73 Hajime no Ippo(Anime) - 2000-'02 Hajime no Ippo(Manga) - 1989-2004 I think you mean when I said "I don't think you can compare Ippo and Kenshin. Now Ippo and Ashita no Joe? That's a whole different story." In which case I meant you can't compare Ippo and Kenshin because they are different genres.(sports and action/martial arts) Ashita no Joe and Hajime no Ippo can both be compared much more easily because they are both boxing anime/manga and they were done by the same people. In my opinion, Ashita no Joe is better. It's just has much more of a legendary quality to it. |
