I wonder if the server checks it's clock with the standard? After all, computer clocks if not kept up to date, will lag behind in a matter of months...

Reminds me of when I used to post a lot at several Proboards...the clocks were sometimes twelve to fifteen minutes off, and different boards would be off by different amounts in different directions. Very confusing.

Hmm... the time is about five minutes behind. My PABX phone here is synchronsied and is five minutes ahead of the server time.

And then there's my computer here, which is also incorrectly synching to a machine that is five minutes fast.

I trust the phone.

Well, the phone system here does synchronise with an atomic clock, and it is quite accurate. I am required to go by the official time on the phone system and not anything else.

However, our PC's used to (up until recently) synchronise also with the same clock. Now whatever they are synchronising to is roughly 4 and a half minutes fast.

We've tried to get it fixed, but in our case at work doing so will break a few other things. So I just have to train myself to check the right clock on my phone.

I've never really checked board time, as long as it's roughly accurate, I'm happy.

Yeah, it's roughly accurate... but it's really slipped over the past week or two. I wouldn't be surprised if it's losing a couple of seconds each day.

Nah, but honestly. My skin isn't exactly that white, which is odd considering how much I stay indoors and such.
