I'm once again working on an IRC bot for the network. This one's based on an existing package and I've already programmed the start of a quote part. The little bugger's extensible and we'd be able to add pretty much anything. Right now he runs off the board's server as a command line PHP script, but uses databases on wootest.net. Count on some sort of web interface later on.

What would you like to see in the bot?

Something that keeps it online maybe?

It's nice so far, but I would see some other features. Like inbuilt reminders, I want a bot that would flood me with a certain message at a certain date. ^^

Oh yeah, I forgot to post about it. We now have !google, which does what you'd expect, and !gspell, that looks if Google has any suggested corrections - "Did you mean: ...".

It was just a special layer in the !or module. I've also implemented flipping coins (!flip, !flipcoin, !coin) and rolling (six-sided) dices (!roll, !rolldice, !dice) in this "preset" mode. If you have a good candidate for this, PM me or just plain talk to me over IRC.

It uses a core called limibot, which isn't the best of code but is easily extensible. All functions are addon modules. I would love to use PHP-IRC, but that requires PHP5.
