At least the engineering of new species isn't being accelerated by nuclear fallout from some of the weapons humanity has been capable of creating.

Life seems to be a very touchy subject when addressed directly, but if the 'perfect soldier' were to be mechanical or viral in nature we'd be like 'boooo-riiiing, soooo nineties....' regardless of its ability to defile other living things. Also, if anyone sees that movie from Faces of Death about 'livestock,' you get desensitized to the idea of a hybrid animal veeeery quickly.

I dunno, since I'm not really seeing any difference, more power to the researchers.

There a incredibely low chance that mutation can be useful, since a mutation is caused by a gamma ray who cut chromosome, which is part of the DNA, and most of time It cause thing like losing a leg, cancer etc.
Note: the perfect soldier thing renember my character in sim-battle, check my post in the sticky thread profile to find out why

"There are currently no U.S. federal laws that address these issues."

Well, DUH!

I don't know man, the world is an interesting place. Like with new technology it all depends on the ethical standards that control it. In other words, we're screwed. But don't worry, the nukes will get us before Canada's legion of antmen.

Well, but nuke is almost unusable, because If U.S.A. throw nuke somehere without real reason, anyone while fight against them and their people will enter in rebbelion, this is why it is unusable, so no need to worry about nuke, my theory in my sim-battle profile look more close to the future

My personal thoery is that we have more to worry about from something called THE FLU!

Once we have another Spainish flu styled outbreak, the world is bye-bye.
