NOES IT BURNS.

We need a new thread for the discussion. Btw, I agree with DS; Smallhacker was correct right up until that line; Link had already saved Hyrule in the future, he just went back in time.

another zelda timeline debate? ummm, i usually skip or don't pay attention to the cutscenes in these games, so i can't get involved

but for the question, the green, red, blue, and purple tunic colors for SSB and such also happen to be the colors of the four players in four swords. so my guess is that the purple tunic represents player 4 in the four swords games.

KC(boy am i evil) let it go! You made your point once already! If anyones THAT stupid to think SSB's Links purple tunic is based off a game that came out 5 years later, then they must of went in a cave for five years, came out, a rock hit their head, and they got amneisa(sp?), and got semi-cured to the point where they can remember everything but the past 5 years! .......I don't know what the fuck eather so dont ask.

dammit, i clicked the delete button instead of edit, then hit ok thinking it was normal.

we're talking about the absence of the material from games beofre it was mentioned in another. so we'd probably be talking about FIRST appearances, right? which is 2002.

No, unless Link somehow spends 7 years while in Termina.

Plus I said 5 years before Link was an adult, because I'm pretty sure MM is two years later and even if it isn't it's obviously before he's an adult.

Did you people not read my post? Majora's Mask happens a few months after OoT, it's stated in the manual.

The snowhead question was bogus. Your answer fits just as well as any of the answers we gave you.

Shut the hell up, no it doesn't. I pointed out why your answers didn't connect right. Go play Majora's Mask and go and LOOK at the area called SNOWHEAD. It's the Snowhead Temple from outside. Look, it's practically just an icy version of Ganon's Tower. And don't make a deal of it, it's just a bonus question.

No, Ganon's Tower's alternate would not be the Moon. There is no similarities between the two areas except that they're both the final areas. That doesn't mean they're alternates.

We don't know when exactly MM took place, but judging by the age of link in MM, it wasn't more than 3 or 4 years that Link left Hyrule Castle.

Ok, EVERYONE READ MY POST ON THIS SUBJECT. It's long and not very well orders but it COVERS alot of this and you guys are missing some vital points, such as the fact that Majora's Mask happens a few months after OoT, the end, no more arguements.

Anyway, look, everyone, please, stop turning this into a discussion on the timeline because we'll never make it stop if it carries on. Just read my post, TRY and understand it, and just accept that it's not something we can just figure out. Just don't make any silly assumptions like other people do, like 'when Link was in Termina, seven years past in Hyrule!!'... Why? WHY would that happen, if only to suit your convoluted theory on the timeline? There is no evidence to support that.

Anyway, I'm going to move on because I'm annoyed that people are saying my questions are 'bogus' just because you can't get them. I think I've done a dang good job with these questions so far, so shush and stop whining, it's just quiz, and I made that a bonus question for a reason, because I knew most people wouldn't understand what I was going for when I said 'alternate'. And that people would forget the exact location of 'Snowhead'.

The answer to the latest question is the Blue Ring. The purple tunic shares the same colour that the Blue Ring changes Link's tunic to on the original Zelda (which, obviously, isn't actually very blue).

Now, lets make the next question niiiice and simple so you guys quit complaining when you don't get it. >.>

27 - What is the name of the third dungeon in TLoZ?

EDIT: Ah, the whole Nazi thing, I was wondering if that would come up. Lookalike, maybe, but no, it's a Hindu religious symbol, I think. Or some religion, anyway... I forget.

Surprisingly, I believe that this symbol you may be talking about is actually a peace symbol of some sort. At least that's what I remember reading one time, as I playing this one game and I noticed that there were a lot of Swastica-looking symbols and I went to GameFAQs to see something about that and that's what I got.

It is. I think it's the Kanji, not the Manji, but I could be wrong. And it is a symbol of peace, which the Nazis stole and used as their own.

And it's an anagram of Zelda, of course.

You're all wrong. The Manji and the Swastika are different things. The Swastika was used as a symbol of power, which is why the Nazis took it, but a Manji is also a symbol of peace. Note how the prongs point the opposite directions.

I read about this on Zeldalegends; this is not modelled after the swastika, I believe I believe it was just used as a random symbol.

Alright, this is my fault here. I think I threw you guys off-topic big time and I think that I should throw away my guess for this question.

Read Fyxe's last post and try to answer the question so we can get this moving. No point taking about a symbol that has nothing to do with what's going on now.
