| Basically I had enough of the Max (amongst others) vs Legion affair, so when they had a discussion about something - not so much as a discussion as a means to an end, the end being to quabble - I had enough and uttered the following line. [ 21:32:32 ] [ @Jesper ] Leg and max, SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT THIS AT ONCE OR NET YOURSELF A BIG SHINY 24 HOUR KICKBAN Since neither of the two did shut up about it, I kickbanned them. Legion kept walking the bans and even - I think - removing the bans himself via ChanServ. Per rule "2.2. Channel Ban Evasion (Note: Starts with 1 Day Gline)" he got a 1 day G-Line (the time period also matching the kickban's). #acmlm is not a place for your jihads. Similar punishments WILL follow since you've basically all proved since the reinstatement of EmuNET that you can't not have your wars and conflicts. And before anyone asks, yes, IRCops control #acmlm. #acmlm is the designated main channel for the whole network and thus we have the same authority as the owner in his absence or presence (although our decisions weigh heavier than the owner's if there's a conflict). Not only does this make perfect sense if we're going to run a network having a "hub" channel, but Acmlm also agreed in letting us have this power a long time ago. |
