He lowered the headphones from his ears and pushed off the ground sending him in his swivel chair rolling toward his desk. The teen flipped up his old fashioned phone and pressed a speedy dial button. Zap: Hello? After The Fact, Inc.? Yes ... please make sure you send a full-scale clean up crew to Sim Battle Arena A ... | Grey led a panting Kalar into the considerably more accomodating Tournament Commons room, with Janus and Garro following behind. The former two sat down on a sofa while the latter stood before them and conversed... Kalar: "What, what the hell was all of that, Grey...? I feel kinda tired now..." Grey: "Well, aside from having rocked out to the magic of 80s pop, you also fused with a Heartless on account of an experiment I wished to perform." Kalar: "Experiment..." Janus: "He wanted to see what happened when you used someone else's abilities in conjunction with your own latent powers that were given to you by Trinity Theory. End result was that you learned how to perform Drive Fusion, and picked a Heartless since it was most aligned with the darkness inside of you. You nearly went insane and you were almost consumed..." He smacks Grey upside the head angrily. "...Thanks to THIS idiot here!" Grey: "Hey now, the experiment wasn't a total fKitten Yiffer, we still learned something." Janus scowled at Grey and was quite obviously skeptical of such a claim. Janus: "Oh, really? And what might that be?" Grey grinned as he looked at Kalar, ragged, in pain, and slowly healing from the wounds he had suffered, but alive. And now, he could add much stronger to that list, as well... Grey: "With a little bit of practice, Kalar should be able to control that darkness and balance it out with an equal amount of light. If he manages to do that then he could theoretically stay conscious while fused with even a powerful Heartless." Janus: "I still say there was a way of finding that out that didn't involve endangering his life." Grey: "Sorry, Janus. I'm a fan of the trial by fire." He looked to Kalar and patted him on the back. The man shuddered as a few sparks came from his arm... "You should get some rest. That was some of the best I've seen from you, Kalar. You should feel proud, especially considering what lies ahead of you..." Janus: "You've got to be kidding me! Argh, that does it... I'm leaving! You can forget about getting any help from me in the final rounds, this entire ordeal has become absolutely pathetic!" Grey: "What, Janus?" Janus: "It almost feels like you're just using us for your own sick power-trip experiments! Maybe if you weren't so arrogant or egotistical about every facet of your plan falling into place perfectly, acting like you're som ekind of god or something, you'd be a little easier to deal with... But this is ridiculous!" As Janus turned and walked away, Grey stood up with a start and placed his hand on his shoulder... Janus simply shrugged it off and continued walking. "I'm out of here. Don't try to stop me again." Grey: "Janus, where are you going?" Janus: "Nowhere YOU need to know." Grey: "..." The three of them were left alone in the commons room as their warrior friend shouldered his bag, walked out of the Sim Battle Arena Annex, and stepped aboard Satchel just as the sun began to set... Maybe, Janus thought, he'd take a ride on the Stardust Speedway... Get a little fresh air. |

| It was Kirby's turn to be led into the Tournament Commons room, with Nakase aiding his steps. Kirby's eyes were constantly glazing out. Nakase: You were never meant to do something like that! Kirby: But I gave a good show, eh? Nakase: But using the cards in such a way, and so many! It is amazing that you are still awake! Kirby: Actually, there's a very good reason why I haven't conked out. Kirby points over at Kalar, sitting comfortably in the couch. Kirby: I felt something rather distracting coming from another arena. If I wasn't gonna collapse soon, I'd whack you on the head. You have any idea what kind of serious trouble you could've put this place into?! Nakase: What about the destroyed arena? Kirby: Everyone ran away before something happened. Besides, I thought the force fields were strong enough. It was before the arenas were renovated. And summoning the Heartless to this realm is a far serious case. |

| Ugh... Teddy needs to be replaced, if you want my opinion. He's a good guy, but he's just TOO inactive. And he needs to post in our Judge Battle as well; either that or you need to skip his move, Dracoon... I have something awesome planned for that battle, something that plays a big part in Schwa's storyline.  |

| Kirby is SO lucky that I like the SB forum enough to actually come back here. Since it seems that Teddylot has gone AWOL, I guess I'll take a judge with the tournament, since I was a judge before with Kirby and Teddy. So I guess I'll get started with the whole thing and then be on my way. |

| William walked in, dressed up in the same armor as the subjects of the SPARTAN II project. It was a dark blue color, except the faceplate, which was a shiny gold. When he reached the middle of the room, he took off the helmet and began panting a whole lot. William: "God, this armor is heavy! Geez... I need a break for a minute." He waltzed on over to a nearby couch which he collapsed on. He sat himself up and looked around. He then asked a general question. William: "So... ummm... now that I am judging now, what exactly do you need me to do right now, if anything? I know I have to judge, but is there anything to judge right now?" William could sense some aggravation between the contestants. He felt that something was needed to be done, and soon. |

| Me spending most of sunday night looking over all the matches to see who won and who lost then deciding round 6, from there we will probably have another two rounds, or another round if its obvious who's going to win, and see what happens. From what I can see the line up may very well be! Legualt vs Melvin Jarukoth vs Cheesepie Grey vs Metalman Kirbynite vs Sion and... umm... I think I'm booting all the people that didn't respond in their last match or let it die out, haven't been active for a while, or any number of things. Any complaints can just be left here or pmed to me, but I'm not putting up with bullshit anymore. My original idea was EVERYONE THAT ENTERED AND SAID THEY'D DO SOMETHING WOULD BE HERE AND DO IT... yeah, people aren't like that though. Anyways, if I'm leaving anyone out who posted but didn't have a fight, leave me a message here. The next round WILL start next monday. So far I believe it looks like this in rankings. Kirbynite and Cheesepie 0 losses. Grey and Metalman 1 losses each. Jarukoth, 2 losses, I'm not sure on this one or anyone elses. (edited by Dracoon on 09-15-05 07:49 AM) |
