| Some people are starting to be active. I mean at least there is a few people who have pretty good sized threads allready for the battle. One in particular is the Dark Slaya vs Jarukoth. That is the most active thread here. Well besides this one. So please don't close down the tournament because it is actually fun. EDIT: Sorry I didn't read the rest of your post He he. |

| The first round posters were a bit less prolific than would've been nice, but I think I've managed to come up with a decent judgement for each battle. Cappa vs APH Striker - Although there was nearly nothing at all to base a choice upon, I fished several minor details out of the fighters' posts and vote for APH Striker. Toxic vs Melvin - Toxic's character is unique and creative and, for whatever reason, he is quick to declare himself the loser as the battle continues. I'd consider that a good quality for this sort of thing: one has to know when one cannot deal with a specific attack or action by the opponent, and not answer a powerful move with an equally powerful but ridiculous counter. My choice is Toxic. Lord Rahl vs Kirbynite - Again, very little to judge. Kirbynite tended to be more descriptive and, arguably, was a bit more creative in his attacks. He's my choice. MetalMan88 vs Nicolaie - My vote's for MetalMan88, hands down. Nicolaie refuses to take any damage, all the while insisting on the extreme power of his own moves. Dracoon vs Grey - Grey's characters are imaginative and funny. Dracoon puts up a good fight, but is outmatched by Grey. Jarukoth vs Darkslayer - Judgement to come. I haven't had a moment to tackle this longest of the battles yet. [Edit: My vote goes to Jarukoth. Again, I cannot supply any details to support my choice, but the general sense I got from reading the fight was that Jarukoth simply showed a bit more grace and power. | If it's not too late... There once lived a character I'd love to use, and loved exploiting his deadliness. I've got so many characters, all of which are "stupidly" powerful (if you want to call them that), but none more than this one: Alien Seph. But, due to storyline stipulations, he's had a change in characters, and thus, changed around and molded to something less powerful (it has the potential to surpass it's previous form, but it's currently WAY less powerful), so I instead created an even more powerful prototype of him called Elite Seph. If anyone's man enough to go up against him, or likes using uberly-powerful characters o' doom, just drop a line... Also, about the last few (consecutive) threads I've participated in in this thread: I was really serious about keeping "up to date" with these threads, and the last was discontinued only because of my lack of online time while I was on Christmas break. I'll do my best to be on top of these threads from now on, and if I ever get the chance to partipate in a tourney round, I'll be more than happy to. (edited by Seph2k4 on 01-22-05 02:44 PM) |

| Origin whistled very loudly, getting everyones attention. "Ok, after much thinking, I've decided a few things. First off, the next bracket will be following this speech. Second off, I'm going to allow two new fighters to join. Since it will keep the number even, they will only fight the top two fighters, counted by wins, if they are in 3rd or 4th place, or above of course." Next Fighting Matches! To be started the Monday after all matches have been judged. Dracoon vs Jarukoth Grey vs Darkslaya (AKA Sex Change) Lord Rahl vs Toxic Kirbynite vs Melvin Cappa vs Metalman88 APH Striker vs Nicolaie Sion vs Seph2k4 Dracoon stepped in from the arena, with a look of disappointment on his face. "I would've had that match if I had more time. I just figured out a way to make the fight more interesting... Damn, time limits love to work against you." |

| Teddylot: Ugh ... just to let the tournament start tomorrow. I'll make my judgings short and sweet. I've wreaked havoc in the thread that needed it most, so I'm done for now with that stuff. Cappa vs. APH Striker: To sum up my post in five words: You both suck like peas. I just narrowed it down to how many days went without posting which compared to six and eleven, or something around there. Cappa gets my vote. Toxic vs. Melvin: Sweet. Melvin gets my vote. Well played, both of you. Lord Rahl vs. Kirbynite: RAHL!!! NO OoC EXPLANATIONS!  Kirbynite gets my vote. There was some other stuff, but I burned my notes to heat my house during the snowstorm.MetalMan88 vs. Nicolaie: MetalMan88 gets my vote. This battle had quite a few problems from both sides, and once I have the time, I'll probably put my notes down in the thread, but for now ... Nicolaie you just pulled out too many non-no's. Dracoon vs. Grey: Grey gets my vote. Another good battle. Grey fancied my "Creativity" button above all other things. Jarukoth vs. Darkslayer: Harum ... this battle was fairly good, except for a few things that bugged me ... like a certain misspelling of "opponent," but other than that this battle was pretty smooth. In my opinion, however, Jarukoth was just better all around followed closely by his opponent. SEE ... It has an 'e' and not an 'a'!!! Slayer ... learn to spell those vital words. Jarukoth gets my vote. Teddylot: Not too thorough, but if I let you peak into the complexity of my thoughts, you might die ... or something like that. Don't know really ... haven't tried it really, but I'm thinking of you all ... really. Congratulations to all participants. Now bring me a better, stronger, faster, and especially smarter second round ... or I might end up ... being bored, and that's no good ... nope. |

| As Blue's battle with DarkSlaya raged on, Red, Grey, and Janus took the time to observe some other battles... Red: "So what do you make of Melvin, Grey? You fought him before..." Grey: "......I don't want to remember it." Janus: "Relax, Grey. You're not gonna be the one fighting him. I am. Or, to be more precise, I, I, I, I, and I will be. If everything goes well, that is." Red and Grey looked at Janus oddly, and wondered what he was talking about... Red: "Ok.... and what about Wellington and Johannius?" Janus: "Well, I go way back with Wellington, so it'll be interesting to see if he's learned any new tricks. Truth be told, I'm kinda looking forward to seeing what he's capable of." Red: "...." In a classic cutscene fadeout, the three men turned back towards the arenas to watch the battles in action... |

Serra: "Wow Destin, you so nice..." Hero: "Really Destin, he at least has fought in the tournament and is signed up to fight again. Me and you aren't even in the back pools for it." Destin: "Shut up..." Stacice walked in, with a limp and rather bruised body. She sat down like no one was even in the room and fell asleep. Origin and Dracoon came in a few seconds later. Dracoon: "Vital organ damage is non-existant, she needs low medical attention. She is overall fine." Origin: "Well, she came out of that relatively healthy, I feared the worse for her... Oh hey Kirbynite. I've heard about your battle, also how you almost got gunned down." A light emmited for Origin aimed at Stacice, all her bruises disappeared and she continued to sleep soundly. The same light reached towards Kirbynite. Hero: "I can't believe you let her fight." Origin: "She was faster than me... or else I would have been fighting." Dracoon: "We just had to play rock-paper-scissors." |

| Kirby let out a small hiss as his missing scales began to regenerate. He could feel the torn tissues inside of his shoulders, both right foreleg and right wing, become rewoven. Kirby: ~Thanks... I was afraid I'd have to go into another battle with more of a disadvantage than I am in right now. I can't do too much as a dragon. I just wanted to dazzle the crowd, but now I'm stuck like this unless I start tossing out random alchemy items out of my backpack...~ He carefully stepped towards a wall and laid down beside it. I know Janus, he won't turn down a good fi--" Suddenly, a few hundred feet above them, a loud crash is heard! The four of them all turn their eyes upward, and Blue instantly figures out what it is! Blue: "Judging by the size of this building, that crash had to have come from the roof!" Red: "Is it him?" Grey: "Everyone's down here, even the judges! Except..." Green raised an eyebrow.
