My computer has restarted by itself alot recently, so I disabled automatic restart in Windows XP. Just 5 minutes ago it happened again. The bluescreen showed following: KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR *** STOP: 0x0000007A (0xC0300204,0xC0000102,0xC00811D0,0x01AD22804) Can anyone help me with this? EDIT: It just did it again! MEMORY_MAGNAMENT ** STOP: 0x0000001A (0x00041284,0xD7C6A001,0x000033CE,0xC0C00000) (edited by Kieran on 12-08-04 09:48 AM) |

im not exactly sure, but ive had both those bluescreens lately...and for me it happened, when my brother was on, and using a Bit torrent Client...and when he stopped, no blue screens anymore...it might just be certain software, or hardware though..

To me, it happens all the time. Browsing the internet, chatting, playing a game... almost everything can trigger it...

I just did a search for those error messages on microsoft.com, and here's what I got: Stop 0x0000007A or KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR STOP: 0x0000001A (0x00041284,0xD7C6A001,0x000033CE,0xC0C00000) According to the second site, that problem's supposed to occur when you start your computer, but it doesn't sound like it's doing that in your case With any luck, those'll help you get your computer working properly again. |

Hmm...it looks like you might have a RAM problem. Try reseating the RAM modules, and if that fails, you just might need to buy some new ones.

Like BMF said, that it could be your RAM, then check out this It's a program, that you can start only via Floppy. What it does: It scans your RAM moduls for errors and checks them completely. (edited by Hidden Mario on 12-09-04 08:42 AM) |
