...which is exactly why I'm looking into a PS2/XBOX->USB converter, so I, yes, me my sister can play it here with all of the songs on here instead.

The Ignition pad looks nice, it's got hard styrofoam things inside it so it's actually somewhat hard.

Yes, Ignitions are the awesome. I almost need a new one, because I used to stomp so much.

Even IF I were interested in the Gamecube one, I'd need a PS2 > GCN converter, because I would kill myself to spend another 100 bucks on a Gamecube adaptable Ignition.

I wish I had something besides just DDR to do while RO is down...

Most run around 15-20 bucks. They're not that expensive.

Well, I had a red octane ignition and the pad blows, it's better than most soft pads, but it suffers the same problem for me: it slides around a lot and it's hard to play without your feet slipping. Also, the inside of my pad is ripped up after only 4 months of use (and that's not constant use, that's maybe 4 times a month).

That is why I ordered a cobalt flux! It's on it's way as we speak and I can't wait to play DDR at home on a hard, metal pad with my shoes on!

If you do the math from the approximate time of my death to the time in the following screenshot, you can see how close I might have been to making it through that stage.

The song that caused my downfall:

Endless...so I'm guessing it's just every song you owned.

Damn, if I did that, I'd be on here for weeks.

Well I decided to do doubles again today. I was doing kinda bad, so I decided, what the hell, Imma use 1.5x... Well, I did and I passed HVAM Standard no problem. I freaked out. So I reluctantly tried Holic Heavy, passed it A, full combo first try. It seems if I use 1.5x on doubles, I can do most of the songs. I got half way past CSFILSM the one time I tried it. I must say, DDR Doubles is 10x funner than singles

Today, my Ignition was being a prick while I was trying to clear mission 53. It's the one with "Make it Better", where you can only hit the simultaneus(sp?) arows. So, after I about the tenth time of it fritzing on the down arrow, and hitting it right before I hit a pair...

I threw it at a wall. Literaly. Didn't even bother to unhook it from the PS2. Thankfull, it got unhooked before it went too far, even though my PS2 was pulled out a bit, and all the games went clattering. Then I failed it with the controller I plugged in, after I accidently choose "retry", then I turned it off.

I think tomorrow I'm going to burn this pad at the stake.

Contradicting what I said earlier:
DO NOT BUY AN IGNITION. BUY A COBALT FLUX. IT'S BETTER!

Yes. I had an Ignition and it fritzed out on me in a month. Not only that, it doesn't stay put and the pad bunches up at the corners a lot :/

However, I played it smart and decided to go for a Cobalt Flux. I just wish I had the money to get two so I could do doubles, but I guess doing singles at home will suffice so I can do just doubles at the arcade

What PS2 > USB converters are you all using? Mine doesn't allow two buttons pressed at once .

I've got Super Joy Box, a newer version, which supports two PS/2 controllers at once to USB. The only problem is if I want to use dance pads on it, I have to press UP, Start, and Select for a few seconds to turn it on so that it maps to USB buttons and not D-Pad. Some of the convertors you'll see won't support that and will only work for D-Pad.
