Omega is a transcendental number designating the probability that a turing machine program is syntactically correct and will halt. You also can't calculate all the digits of it.

It's funny, my copy of Firefox just renders that as a bunch of question marks (Yes, I've tried changing to various encodings).

You could try this: Click 'View', 'Character Encoding', 'Auto-Detect', Japanese. I don't know how mine got set to that, but it is, and I see those special characters fine

As far as using those special characters go, opening up the character map then clicking select, copy then pasting makes things quite easy I could be certain I saw a symbol almost exactly like this: ₪ on some poster at my high school 'advertising' some university. I can't remember what one it was now

To finish up this post, just in case anyone's wondering why I'm still able to post here at night, etc. when we were supposed to have gotten rid of the internet now, I'm able to still be here at those times because we're not getting rid of it 'till the end of February, but if we want to keep it, it's up to us (me, my brother and sister) to pay for it. It's times like this that really make me wish I had a paying job

...isn't it time for Anya to set her post count like it was before?

And Firefox generates that correctly, althought it depends if you have thoose symbols installed too. Which I actually have...

That was exactly what I thought of. I could only see question marks too but it

makes sense, I guess. Like I said, changing the encoding didn't help any.

"You will prompted to insert the Windows CD-ROM or point to a network location where the files are located."

Is it just to write microsoft.com there?

or, you just have to search for IME at Microsoft's web site and you'll get installation files that way. Oh, the IME files they say are for Office but you can use them even though you don't have office.

As for not having a WinXP CD, how did was WinXP installed in the first place?
