| Oh...Had I had my old 200 I would've done that and told my mother and sister to use that instead. Too bad I had to get rid of it though, it was taking up too much space...I've still got parts lying around in apartment closets. Monitors...hard drives...you name it. EDIT: RS. LOL. Hehe, I love my family. We're considering getting yet another computer. Even if this computer is still decent by todays standards.  Heh, sometimes I wish I had a laptop. But I don't know if I should blow alot of money on one. When I use stationary most of the time. I could see a few uses when i'm not at home... but.  |

| Oh...yea...server laggers. Those were fun to deal with. Especially on slow servers where you had people without speed caps going at 200+ speed and whacking people with swords and getting several hits per second. Sounds like machine gun fire...and eventually you'll hear the server go down. And mine's a 1.0 GHz PIII, 128MB RAM (dunno what) with onboard vid.  |

| Well, if we're going to post our computer stats (and that's what it appears to be by the previous post), then here's mine: Old Computer Pentium 3 ~500mHz (I can't remember the exact number) 16Mb Graphics Card (Don't know the manufacturer of it) 64Mb RAM (Unsure what type it was) Yes, I don't remember the details of all the things, as with the old one, I didn't really pay attention to the stuff that was inside it, and was just happy that it worked New / Current Computer AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 2gHz GeForce FX 5200 (128Mb VRAM) 512Mb DDR RAM It's pretty much the same as yours, Xeogred Except for the amount of RAM in it, and I would like to get more some time soon  The computer's pretty much average as well  I haven't tried to play Doom 3 yet at all, but it'd probably run alright on medium settings or somewhere around there |

| God I hate not being able to play the latest DOOM. It's a shot to my old image of going nuts playing DOOM and DOOM 2 and making PWADs to both versions. I went nuts with those and LAN usages of the PWADs with DOOM Legacy back in the day. | |||

| Yea, I also left E1M3 and E1M5 shots on there too if you want to change the URL to both and see them. They're pretty simplistic. I only did them because I was bored and we needed time to kill on the cruddy school LAN with Legacy in comp sci because our teacher sucked. We got up to a record of 11 users at one time, all from 7th to 12th grade at the same time, some in the lab, others in the library. Kicked ass. I fragged a good 50 in 7 minutes on my own maps. |

| Damn, I'm wanting to play these games again. Just wish it wasn't all so complicated for XP.  I think I remember playing onling once with Doomsday, I myself had a good frag fest. I don't see how people think Doom's hard. It's freaking fun. Always loved the themes too. Doom > Duke Nukem 3D. Who knows, maybe Duke Nukem Forever will change that thought!  |

| If I had the time, I'd get that going again with someone serving up with DOOM Legacy, it was plenty playable...and if you have a few decent hi-speeders...you could pull it off easily. Even a 56K here and there unless they lagged out. DOOM itself is not that hard of a game to run online most times. | |||

| BFG 9000. Big Fscking Gun. And the mods we made to it were pretty good I thought. Instead of BFG it was Super Egg Bomb, you'd hold a chicken by it's legs and let it shoot out eggs. :\ Stolen from DOOM 3? which was a hack back in '94. Sadly, DOOM 4? was never released, that I know of. And Chicken Master 2000 for the rockets. Shooting chooks. That was great. |

| I'd have to get the old Legacy out and fire it up and take a few screenshots of it. It was funny how it looked. That and having Demons as Barney the Purple Dinosaur and Barons of Hell being Power Rangers...I mean...it was fscked up to say the least. We all had laughs from that game in high school. |
