I don't think I've ever played that game, let alone seen it It doesn't look particularly interesting, going by the two screenshots, but, you never know

As for productive things done with my day, not much here I finally got out to my band practice this morning, which took up most of the time from when I woke up 'till now. Other than that, nothing important whatsoever It's a Saturday though, so that should be expected

I don't see what's so freakish about it either, unless it's because it looks different after having the same one for a long period of time.

*Looks at the title* Something tells me that this have been based on an episode of Family Guy.

Well, about my day... all I've been doing is playing games and relaxing, hoping to hang out with my friends later and some other things.

While Hiryuu's layout is just a little scary, I'm more concerned that Hiryuu/Yomiko has turned into a fan of Read or Die. Nothing wrong with that though, but could you find any less cute pictures? Just wondering. I don't think it's too bad, because the character herself DOES have a cute-like attitude about many things. You know, like a bit of an absent-minded cuteness.

And... what about hybrids?

Nearest I can figure is he means hybrid cars, but that makes no sense at all in the context...

Hybrid means a mix of species, like a 'liger' (a breeding between a tiger and a lion). But I suppose it could also mean furries. I have no idea why he would use the term hybrids if it meant that, though.

There was a recent article linked on slashdot about actually creating animal hybrids. That the scientists called chimereas. We might not be far from creating actual "furries" but when fantasy crosses reality... is it really morale to do?

Ironically, I find hybrid cars quite intresting too. Althought I hadn't seen a recent article about it...

Hmmm, chimeras... I don't know if it may be like what you're thinking Kitten Yiffer. I think that if this is the case then there may be some ways to go with this.

Of course, I'm not going to argue if it's moral or immoral at this point, because I and possibly many others don't really know THAT much about it. Only those scientists have a clue about it really...

No, that wouldn't really work, because they're far more human than animal. What you would get if you tried would be far more like that chimera from early in FMA.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too, Kyouji. I was wary that if it would be like that if chimeras were actually created. By the way, if you haven't seen Full Metal Alchemist and you don't mind the sight of anime, definitely go watch it. It's on Adult Swim or you could buy it and such. *Commerical ends*

But yeah, when I heard the word "Chimera", I thought about what happened in that one episode in FMA... Definitely not the ideal furry that you're thinking of Kitten Yiffer...

Yeah, we would need alot of genitcal engineering to even have something that probably wouldn't look like a mis-build freak.

I should watch more Anime, and I should collect alots of it. I succefully removed my unwatched Anim

There are differences between the manga and anime for FMA, I'm seeing that already...that ep, for one, is slightly different.

Another example is the recent ep where Edward transmutates gold and buys the deed to the one city and whatnot...the one alchemist that was on the Lieutenant's side doesn't even exist in the manga.

Course that seems to be in every manga/anime combo I've seen; no two are exactly the same.

So apparently the DoD[1] this month is fucking huge. Good, maybe I won't come in last like the last time I ventured into Metroid territory.

[1]- Dwelling of Duels, a monthly video game competition with a changing theme. This month's theme is Metroid games (Every few months there's a "Free month" where you can do whatever you want...this was my last foray into Metroid).

I'm aware of the differences between the anime and the manga. According to my sources after a certain point they're completely different... Anyway, I was talking about the anime, as I haven't seen the manga.

Only thing I've seen out of the manga are the scans...and I haven't seen all of them...hell I've only read it a small bit and there's only been about 10 eps of it through CN thus far. The one tonight ends a two-parter as it is.

Can't complain about the VAs this time, least Funi did some work scrounging new talent.

You know you want a real catgirl, Kitten Yiffer. And I have FMA on my computer.

I know what a chimera is. A lion's head, a serpent's tail and...I forgot the last part.

Actually, the exact makeup of the fantasy creature 'Chimera' is debateable. If you're wondering, it's usually a 'she-monster', and is usually composed of lion, goat and serpent (sometimes represented as a dragon-like beast).

Sometimes it's depicted as a weird mix with a head of each, but is also sometimes described as having the front parts of a lion, the middle parts of a goat and the tail of a snake.

Kyouji's right, furries are more human than animal.

How do you run an 'audit' of ROMs, do I need the ROM files in seperate folders within the 'rom' folder, how do I know anything is working?

MAME is the most user unfriendly program I've ever experienced. Help.

EDIT: To put it simply, I have downloaded MAME, I have downloaded Darkstalkers (which consists of a series of files within one file) which I have put in the 'rom' folder. Now what? Utterly stumped.
