| Well, perhaps I worded that poorly. It's not really that the BOARD doesn't seem to care, but rather most/all browsers aren't particularly strict in what they'll accept as proper. If it has CSS data, it'll generally load as CSS regardless of the extention. | |||

| Firefox tries to fully support the W3C standards, but even then it adds some things that aren't on the standards, but things like IE added. During the browser wars there was diffrent non-W3C standards tags that only a certain browser supported. Most aren't after supporting a certain browser nowdays, but to support the W3C standard. And at least try to make it work on all sites. ...even if I like Firefox, I wouldn't shut out IE users.  |

| Two things... This board needs a non-blurry banner. I wonder if I could try and reduce the blur as much as possible. I mean, we have to look at it all the time, it might as well look nicer... I wish I had PhotoDeluxe on this machine. Dang. Now, a favour just to ask people... Very random, and ignore at your lesuire... But I'm wondering if someone can look around online for something... Namely, a headband... A fox-ear headband. That's it. All I want is that... But it needs to be good. Something that looks vaguely realistic, or at least looks a heck of alot better than just a while fluffy bit surrounded by an orange fluffy bit. You get the idea. What's wrong with a crisp image? It depends what you mean by 'sharp'. I just mean a lack of JPEG blurring, that's all. That won't make the picture *too* sharp or anything. It's not *blur*, per-se, but a term used for the 'artifacts' on an image created when compressing a JPEG. Alexa, I understand, but presumably you'll eventually get a better laptop. And it's possible to turn pictures off in IE if need be, of course. |

Fyxe: I really wished on where you would find a such items, althought I may be able to find it in some furry shop. Hell, I go and ask a few people I know, I may find something. Considering I seen alot of thoose online shops before.  And besides, i'm not getting annoyed by that banner. But well, I think Acmlm still have that raw orginal copy somewhere. A one who isn't JPG compressed. Now I don't say we should go ahead and add a 100 KB banner up there, but I can see a banner around 50 KB which looks much nicer. The current one just takes up 15 KB. On certain browsers, you can block images. So anyone annoyed by that picture could just block it, still I do agree that it could be slightler higher quality. |

| If Acmlm has the original image, I could try and compress it as much as possible to keep the file size down without losing any picture quality. It's possible to get very decent results. Can IE block specific images? I haven't figured out if it can or not. |

| I think that you shouldn't force people to have to deal with things like slower load times or block every single image because they are unlucky and have to use a bad browser, however a good enough compressed cleaner banner would still be nice. | |||
