| Haven't played either of those, I'm afraid. The only recent 2D-style fighting that I've played was Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. It's a really fun game, but... it seems that only one mode's up for playing. Haven't really explored the game that much though. | |||

| I have yet to play the original of MvC, but I really want to... It sucks that I don't have an arcade machine, a Dreamcast or PSX to play it on. Oh well, I guess that I shouldn't complain too much. | Between 2D and 3D...it depends all on the environment and the system, not the dimensions. While 3D is supposedly more complex, it doesn't have to be. It depends on hit detection, move fluidity, overall control handling. If they blow as bad as the NES pirate Yuu Yuu Hakusho Final ROM...then it doesn't matter what dimension it's in, it just blows period. | |||

| I don't like 3D games at all, sprites all the way. Also, Googie said Street Fighter II is the EASYEST GAME IN STORY, but in hardest I had problems finishing it with all characters... Is it really easy? |

| SF2 can get very cheap though. If you know most 'masters' at the game then you know that they'll pick out Ryu or Ken and spam with HADOUKEN and counter jumps with SHORYUKEN with the utmost timing and do NOTHING but that. No fun for the person being submitted to it and it gets pretty monotonous playing someone like that after a while...like beating up a cheap CPU. (edited by Rain on 01-16-05 04:23 PM) |
