I go with my friend to see Wedding Crashers, supposed to be playing at 10:40, only to find out they've stopped playing all other films because a preschool is taking a field trip to the theater to see March of the Penguins or something.
Why do they have to stop playing all other films in other theaters? Losers.
Either...

A. They paid a LOT of money (Not likely)

or

B. They used their insane cuteness annoying powers of doom to pressure the movie theater into letting them...

Why are short 5 year olds so annoying? Were we that annoying at that age?

Well I love kids. I don't hate the kids, I hate the theater. >8(
WHY do you have to close the entire place to put on a movie for kids? It's not like they would take up more than one of the big theaters. It's not like they'd leave and run into an R rated film. Come on. >8(
I was looking forward to Wedding Crashers.

Depending on the city, the only reason I would think is abduction. If you had 5 or 6 teachers responsible for 4 or 5 groups of 25+ kids, it would get pretty hard to keep track of them all. By the time you went down the list to see if everyone was there, you could have a kid be abducted and half way out of the city.

Just my guess.

If not that, then the theatre is retarded. Closing down means losing money and I don't know of ANY business or company that wants to do that.

I used to play when monsters without effect could still rock, if you used the proper traps/ magic cards.

Now there's no skillzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (as every card is redicoulously overpowered, compared to the old ones.).

I used to play and actually have to guess which cards the opponant had, now it's almost the same.

I used to play and people had strategies with tons of different decks.

Which one, all of them? Most of the GBA games or just about any Yugioh game ever play by the rules. That's why I only play them if I'm borrowing another friend's game.

I don't collect cards anymore, because I wasted a lot of money. I could have bought five 50$ games....... All part of growing up I guess.

I think it was one of the first ones that came out... long time ago to be sure. :\ But since I had never played the card game, it all went WOOSH over my head.

Well, what is YVD Kyouji (side note: I have learned how to spell your name).

@KATW: I know the origin of your new name!!

If you spell Kirby ATW backwards (WTA ybrik) it sounds kinda like Watery Brick.

Cool name btw...

I wonder what mine says spelt backwards...muinokiek....nope stupid. lol.

The earliest I started playing it on the GBA was DM6. DM5 blew. Both were eventually released in the US and only now are we really on par with Japan in terms of the games coming out.

Anymore, though, it's kind of stale since DM6.

I'm happy with Pokemon TCG for the GBC. I know I have a few cards around here but I'm guessing they would have been worth more years ago... so yeah.

Legion: I think we agreed each thread will be closed at 5,000 posts.

I never had the patience for card games I used to find them fun to play out of boredom and such, but I haven't touched them for a while now. That applies to not only games played with real paper / stock paper / whatever else, cards, but also to videogames based off of a card game, like Pok

20 points to you because my signature says so... (You know, the best thing I can come up with for your name is "Muting Kick" Hey, I tried )

Yu-gi-oh is a dying fad around here

I think it almost left the building about a year ago, then a new generation tried to revive it, but failed...

Or Mutton Kick. Mutton is cooked lamb if I am not mistaken.

5000 posts eh...just about 120 more to go or something like that.

I wonder how many people will "post" this fourm to make it go past 5000.

Also, Yu-Gi-Oh was never big around where I live. Sure you have the little groups of kids who play the game all the time, but for the most part not many people liked it.

Bayblades was really big tho. It still is . I am in grade 11 and people my age still play it. Thats sad if you ask me. I have never played so I don't see what the fun is in spinning hunks of metal and plastic.

However, taking apart pencil sharpeners and attaching the blades to pencils and tossing spinning them are fun....what...
