I was just wondering if anyone still plays it anymore. I got back in to it not that long ago. It's... Different from other card games. It's more fun than a lot of them, but let's just... Let's just say Yu-Gi-Oh! is a very "special" game

It evolves constantly. There are cards being but in as there are cards being restricted and banned. The whole Change of Heart deal you won't see being used anymore, that's for sure.

Some of the better decks that have been built you can easily scout for on Google. Good fucking luck compiling them though; most of the cards in them are rare as hell.

I used to be in it and I play whenever there's a 'dummy' needed for deck against deck and I keep track of the GBA games (usually for IRLs) but that's about it.

Hmm, they recently started to show the Yu-Gi-Oh! here recently. In Swedish.

It's crap, thank you.

Or it's just the dub, bleh.

Meh, I'm not really a fan to the TV show anymore. After that battle city tournament ended and they showed that new season, I just started hating the show. I thought the manga was better than the show though for some reason.

As for the cards, I just got into collecting it for some resaon, I don't have many people to play against in the area where I live because when they try to bring to school, they usually get stolen but when we do play, we don't play by the tournament rules. I recently got all my friends cards which includes a bunch of holos that were hard for me to get my hands on. He gave me the cards because he wanted me to buy him a N64 and 3 games which is a total of $35 at Gamestop. I traded all my crap that I never ever will touch again which was a total of $35. What a dumbass, he lost a whole collection of cards that he stole holos from little kids for an N64 and I lose nothing and gain all the cards.

fabio: You traded the system the original Smash Bros is for for cards? Wow. What a crappy deal.

Hiryuu: Netdecking isn't for me. I'd much rather use a reasonably original deck than the same old Chaos/Morph variants that take no skill to use and will likely face heavy damage once the next ban list comes out in october. Besides which, I still have a very good deck of my own, even if it wouldn't get far in tournaments. (Quote this post to see it.)

No, I said that I bought my friend an N64 because we had a deal that if I got him the system and like a game or 2, he would give me all of his cards. I had a bunch of crap to get rid which includes some games that I don't play anymore. So in the end, my friend got the N64 he wanted and I have all his cards and then I bought an N64 a few days later because I missed out on a lot of good games when it first came out.

I remember when Yu-Gi-OH! was still fun to play because cards weren't overpowered and you actually needed skills to win.

(And were you could pwn people who used God Cards illegaly )

That's true. Have you seen todays packs? I got one of those reprint packs which was Dark Beginning 2 to see how the game has changed and some cards that were hard to get in the past have become commons *cough*Gemini Elf*cough*. That card used to be very hard to get back in the day unless you were real lucky.

Gemini elf SUCKS. If monsters don't have effects, they suck.

Oh, and Hiryuu, there isn't too much variation between many decks due to the high amount of "staple" cards there are, and warrior decks are quite popular, so I can definitely see someone having a similar deck. I highly doubt it's exactly the same, though...

Anyone here have YVD?

Yea but...Gemini Elf...back in the day...that used to rock. :\ Back when everyone was pissing their pants that a level 4 had more than 1500 or 1600 attack points.

That's why Mystical Elf rocked for me (hell, she's still my deck leader in Duelist of The Roses on the PS2)...course I was defense whore back in the day. I still have to have my Labywall hanging around somewhere.

La Jinn. Mechanicalchaser. 1800 and 1850, respectively. La Jinn is in the Starter Deck Kaiba.

Since when do movie theaters CLOSE so they can show a children movie in a theater? >8(
I go with my friend to see Wedding Crashers, supposed to be playing at 10:40, only to find out they've stopped playing all other films because a preschool is taking a field trip to the theater to see March of the Penguins or something.
Why do they have to stop playing all other films in other theaters? Losers.
