I prefer the real thing, really. I still notice the diffrence between a emulator and the real thing.

I miss my NES, it was just too old and wouldn't work, my SNES, it still worked by my mom sold it at a garage sale without telling me, I don't even know how much they sell it for and my Playstation in probably somewhere in the garage with all the other stuff, I haven't used it since I got a PS2.

We were talking about that the other day...they need to make another Mario-type game or Sonic-type game....in its orginal format. None of this 3D graphic-bullshit. I think the game(s) would sell pretty well.

That happened to me, and it was my SNES........My audio cord was bent and she just sold my SNES. Plus all 60 of my games! A rom will never be the same as the good 'ol SNES game feeling.

Wow, you had 60 games! You got to be kidding.Yes a rom will never be the same as the actual game like Yoshi Safari. It's too easy because on the emulator, you get to use the mouse and see the crosshair and the can easily kill aything while on the actual game, you had to have good aim because with the actual super scope, there's no crosshair.

I funking hate NES's.
(not literally)

I had two die on me, years and years ago. I guess it was just probably because I seriously played the heck out of them (considering I didn't go to Pre-school, and instead usually woke up every single day to play Blaster Master when I was 4, that's the truth, I played the heck out of my NES's).

Mine got so bad I eventually had to use a cartridge / NES cleaning kit every time I played a game.

So yeah, now that I'm more of a collector when it comes to videogames, I'm looking out to buy an NES again and start building a library on that. I'm going with Black Lord's plan though, and will probably be getting a newer / better "top loading NES", that'll probably work and last longer than the originals.

On a side note: I'm still a fan of the 8bit music.
