| The sad part about the whole thing is that I haven't received any explanation as to why. So that leads me to believe the following. I put forth my opinion on various things that Colleen and Hiryuu auto-disagreed with. If it was anyone else saying it, they would have actually considered it instead of judging my thoughts based on my username and my username alone. I say that the permaban system is both flawed and pointless. The new policy upon staff change was that we were going to do away with the permaban system and do a ban system that was based on time increments. It worked fine when we re-staffed because the two problem admins were gone, everything on the board was running smoothly. But then, both Hiryuu and Colleen managed to weasel their way back into their beloved admin spots. What's the point? We're reverting back to the previous staff roster which caused nothing but problems. You guys are taking steps BACKWARDS when it comes to this board. Those two, along with Jesper but he's not a factor here, are the reason the board was practically dead for all those months. And now it looks as if history is going to repeat itself yet again. But of course Jesper isn't here so maybe it will just take a little bit longer this time. What the regular users should know is this. In the disciplinary tracker is a list of each and every infraction you have ever done no matter how minor it is. The last thread I closed in LT was the one where I said "Obey my dog!" and then closed it. I left it at that because it was no big deal. However, if any of the other staff were to close it you can rest assure that you would have a comment in your profile with a nice "Keep an eye on this guy." Big Brother indeed. The Iron Fist mindset is once again upon this board. The hell with "Live the fun posting experience". The new motto should be "Acmlm's Board: Watch Your Ass". Another reason I most likely got demoted, besides being severely disliked by two of the admins, is because I asked questions. I stood up and asked what the actual policy was for the banning system and if it had been changed. Hiryuu snapped at me saying it was none of my business and even if I did know, I couldn't do a damn thing about it because I wasn't an admin and it wasn't "my concern". I put forth my thoughts that ALL of the staff should work together as a team, but that's not the mandate of Team Hiryuu/Colleen. I was pretty upset with the lack of communication and the disrespect so I decided not to put in my input anymore and any staff related discussion. Why bother if I'm only going to be dismissed due soley to a personality conflict? If they didn't want to be professionals about this, then I was just going to be a thread closer/mover bot. Fuck it, I said. Anyway, I apologize to anyone who supported me and my vision for the board in the first place. I wanted a place that was relaxed and easy going. If someone made a piss poor thread or maybe a couple spam replies, I wasn't going to bust out the Gestapo and plan your demise behind closed doors. It wasn't a big deal to me really. Things happen, not every post is going to be spectacular. :/ I'm not angry here. If they don't agree with the way I see things and they don't want me on their team (and I do use that word loosely because really, only two people are running this board right now. The rest are doing technical aspects/development) then so be it. It's their choice and there's no internet rulebook that forbids it. It would have been nice to receive SOME form of communciation about this but if I didn't get it back then, why did I expect to get it now, ya know? |

I didn't apply to staff just to have a shiny username/status symbol. I wanted to help make a better environment to this board and not have it to where most users have to second guess whatever it is they're doing in fear that the swift hand of justice and righteousness falls down upon them.
