What's more interesting is the cave. It has an enemy and a chest. The exit leads out into the moat around Kanalet, if that helps. I can't remember how to reach it, though, but I assume it's in that region.

EDIT: Oh, and GBA games run at 60FPS, yes?
Pretty sure, yeah.

Also, for those of you who have a GS (or an emulator with GS-like features) and a LA-DX ROM (or the real deal)...

really long code

this will put a 'frame' of walkable tiles around the area, so (as long as you stay in the frame) you can never, ever get stuck.

Though I don't know if it gives the same wlkable tiles outside.

Fyxe: I have an idea of what it may be, I'll look at it soon. In another note, for some wierd reason, the Level 7 regurgitated miniboss (the one that throws bombs) shows up in the middle of nowhere

The Hinox shows up in the middle of nowhere? Eh? O.o''

And did you say you were pretty sure it was 60FPS, or that you were going to check soon what it was, or both? *Scratches head* I'm endlessly confused.

See for yourself. (.sgm, VBA savestate)

And I'm pretty sure it's 60FPS, but I'm not going to check (hell, VBA will say in the title bar (100%(0, 60 fps))

Nothing's in either one of the useless areas on the map, so mabye it was only in the GB version..?

Possibly, or I'm misremembering. Look for that cave though, it would be interesting to see it in colour.

Indeed it did.

Oh, and damn, I have to redo LOADS of my bloody animations now because I was too dumb to work out the FPS thing. Two reasons, I didn't know GBA was 60FPS (although it makes sense) and I didn't know what the delay on Microsoft Gif Animator equated to (0.01 of a second).

Damn damn. Oh well, I've sorted out my Roy animation, all it needs is an upload, but.. Still... Damn.

This is the room by Kanlet Castle's entrance (to the left after the hundred holes)

Go left from it (using either a cheat, or whathaveyou) to that room.

Ironic there's 200 rupees here. I would've guessed it would be another Power Bracelet if it was really unused...

...and it dumps you out in the above spot.

Dude. Attack of the Trendy Game man.

I assume they were originally Stalfos, possibly Moblins.

Yeah, just like you can get attacked by Marin or Octogrannies...

Anyway, that's about it... I guess the wierdest part is the surrounding areas

Edit: Surrounding area

Bonus points if you can point where all of them are from.

The surrounding areas? What are weird about them? *Blinks* You mean the small cave with the Secret Seashell that you can only reach with the Flying Rooster? Or you mean the cave itself?

No, no, the screens directly next to the unused one...

Check my second-to-last post for a link to them.

Sheesh, kind of wishing I played Link's Awakening a little more, then I would have more to contribute, but... if the select glitch existed in the first, did Nintendo decide to fix it in the DX version or did they think that the color addition was good enough?

Three areas from Tail Cave, a Fairy Fountain, the room with the 'Incinerator', and the hidden route to Kanalet Castle... Kind of an odd combination, I suppose.

It was fixed.

And yes, it is. Usually there are other parts of caves, or entire levels together... but that's a little strange, finding pieces of random areas in levels (and one part that's together) and such...

Well, two parts are together...

Meanwhile, here's some examples of possible Fire Emblem avatars...

You'll probably recognise one of them.

Heh, I was wondering where Lilina came from, but thank you for answering my question. But this isn't another evil "Every avatar is a guy" thing, right?

They are looking pretty good though, very nice job with them.

You never knew where Lilina came from? Well, there you go. And of course Lilina is a girl. O.o''

The other lot are clearly guys.

Those are all early characters. I actually want to do some from the Fire Emblem game released over here, there's some cool looking characters like Erk (AND THE CHARACTERS BLINK. THEY BLINK!! Ok, that sounds like nothing, but FE fans will know it's like, major) but I'm playing through that game at the moment anyway, so.

Just wanted to make sure. Your last display of avatars taught me a viable lesson of "thinking before you look and before you speak to... redeem yourself."

Though, that reminds me... I really gotta get to trying out the 4th Fire Emblem game that's been sitting on my HD, doing nothing for days now. In all the stuff that's happened, I totally forgot about it.

I knew where Lilina came from, but that's becuse Iggy Koopa simply told me back in the day.

*scratches head*

You know, I think I'll make another avatar right now. I had this one for a year soon...

That's because he had it as a name.

Wow, you guys went nuts on Zelda stuff today. I think I only played the DX version long enough to go through the bonus dungeon. Then I put it aside since I had already beaten the game on my GB.
