No Time for playin Games, just wasted 3 hours of my Live upgrading a BIOS on my Girlfriends Compy. 120GB is a slightly newer harddrive than a Pentium II can handle.

Now I need something to eat.

ME..!? I got warnings? *Scratches head again* Well, other than my layout... Maybe I got one other, aaaages ago? That completely unrelated arguement with Kyouji? That's all I can think of.. Mmrr.

I'd appreciate it if the mods didn't go around calling me 'fucking paranoid', mind yous. That was a tad outta the blue, eheh. I was annoyed, not paranoid, the only thing I'm paranoid about is being called paranoid. ^-^;; Erm... Ya.

Hold it, don't try and avoid blame, I wasn't. Like I've said, maybe you get these 'complainments' for a reason? Not trying to start anything again, I'm just sayin'.. If people complain about my behavior I try to fix it.

Complaints is the word you're looking for. Not 'complainments'.

Meet the only two rooms I've found that are unused and likely left over from an earlier period of the Zelda: Link's Awakening days...

The images on the right show where you end up after going through the appropriate staircases.

Remind me to play that game Xkeeper, it's one of the few Zelda games I hadn't played through. (I found the ROM of it once but... well. It was a Russian translation -.-; )

Hehe, maybe I help you with hacking that game. ^^

I had both. I have one.

The old one was pretty fun (but would be moreso if I still had it, since you could go exploring via the Select and keep Marin through the game ) but the color one is pretty damn good too, and they didn't fix one of the glitches that takes you to an odd glitch world

But the 000-death end is pretty nice, too (it's laend70 in my /misc/ folder, if you can find it)

There are a few more rooms, I came across them using the 'select trick' on the original game. There's a unused small cave and I think possibly a room in Eagle's Tower but I'm not certain.

EDIT: And what's up with the font on those ending screenshots, Xkeeper? O.o''

I know about the Eagle's tower one, and here's the font, again:

It's a custom font I made that I injected into the game. I kinda cheated and ogt to the nightmare, so I figured why not just document the end.

Of course, a few screens (I counted 3) are missing, though

Was the Eagle Tower room the room without any exit?

And yes, the select trick was fun

No, it was this:

It's only there until you drop the tower, after which it goes bye bye.

And if you have any clue where the hidden cave is, let me know

But I know there was a room with no exit in the game...

Or maybe that's the same room you've shown, but without anything done to make the staircase appear.

Surely not, ALL dungeons have rooms like that filling in the empty spaces.

Heh. I do remember abusing the SELECT thing too often and get stuck in those rooms...

Had to restart everytime.

That's because that room corresponds to the default "blank space" room ... template 0 (all walls), generic ground, nothing special there. (note: the template 0 part came from Nephi)

And hey, it's a room with no exit. There aren't many others I've found, heh. However, I'm pretty tempted to write a (rediculously long) GS code that'll overwrite the border tiles (everything on the outer edge, basically) with walkable tiles so you can go wherever you want and not get stuck.

BTW, Fyxe, if you could descirbe how you got to the empty room, or at least what ti looked like, I'd appreciate it

I'm really sorry but I have virtually no memory of it and even if I got to it or just read about it. I have a feeeeling that it was a room with no floor or walls, you'd just fall down, or.. Maybe not. The room was in the two spaces of the third floor of Eagle's Tower that you can never visit.

What's more interesting is the cave. It has an enemy and a chest. The exit leads out into the moat around Kanalet, if that helps. I can't remember how to reach it, though, but I assume it's in that region.

EDIT: Oh, and GBA games run at 60FPS, yes?
