The only issue I've ever really had with Newgrounds is the search box at the top not appearing in Firefox Actually, my brother's the only one that really visits the site, so I simply resort to opening the page in Internet Explorer, searching for whatever needs to be found, then copying the URL from after the search and pasting it into Firefox  I haven't had a problem with the cursor dissapearing, although the fact that I have CursorXP running as well might be a factor in that. Even it if did vanish, I could just apply the theme again and it'd probably be back. I forget where I read it now, but I think it was somewhere on Wincustomize that someone said a virus from Newgrounds killed their computer  It sounds a bit far-fetched though  Anyways, what did you do with your day today? It's an overused question, but I figure that would be better than having insults flying around  Myself, I got up around 9, did stuff on the computer 'till 11:30, at which point everyone except my Dad piled into our van to head to Thamesville for our uncle's funeral (my Dad was given a ride there by someone else). That was, honestly, rather boring. I know you'll probably say "How can you think stuff like that about someone dying" or a similar phrase, and my answer would be that I really didn't get attached to him. Sure, he's my Uncle and all, but the last time I saw him would have to have been a couple years ago. I made sure to get a seat beside the bowl of mints  Everything revolving around that went from about 1 in the afternoon 'till 4:30, then we all went home. Now, I've just finished making and eating my supper (a bunch of perogies), and am just looking for stuff to do, as well as considering when to let my brother and sister on the computer, now that I've found out that money was taken from my bank account to pay for the thing. It took long enough for my Dad to tell me  Anyways, there's a question for anyone to answer if you want. |

Karadur, which version of Firefox are you using? And which version of the flash plugin? It works perfectly for me, that search box. | I'm using Firefox 1.0.1, and I'm not sure what version of the Flash plugin I'm using, but I know I just downloaded and installed it from Macromedia's site last week sometime I am using the FlashBlock plugin, but I still don't see any play buttom to click on. I also just tried adding Newgrounds to the whitelist for the extension and reloading the page, and I still didn't see anything This is all I do see in the upper-right corner of the page: I had a vaguely similar problem with either Firebird or Firefox (I can't remember which now) a while back, where I couldn't load winamp.com or any of the other pages on that site, such as the one for skins I'm able to now though, but it's given me a new problem instead, which is what this post is about |

| And I think there is so many people intrested in which version of Firefox you have Trapster when you don't have any problems with it... 1.01 fixes mainly security related bugs, I think the auto-update thing in Firefox grabs it and installs it for you but it dosen't hurt to install it manually. Test to disable the FlashBlock plugin, it could be that one who is screwing things around... if it dosen't help then just enable it again. (edited by Kitten Yiffer on 03-04-05 07:43 PM) |

| I just tried disabling the extension, and I restarted Firefox like is says to, and now the only thing that's changed on that page is the ads are appearing again Like I said before though, it's not really a problem to me, as I don't visit that site, so as long as I know another way around it, things will work I should test it on another computer when I'm in volunteering next week, but the IT department doesn't like programs being installed on the computers that they don't first approve of  That's rather pointless though when you consider the fact that the only time I've ever talked with one of them was on the phone (they work out of Sarnia, I think).Thanks for trying to help though  |
