The Yankees are still Pedro's daddy and Houston lost today since they blew a 3-0 lead.

Anyways, there is still hope in boston right?

The only "ray of hope" is if they can maul El Duque, Brown, or Mussina (I see him going again)...Pedro + Curt = 9 innings, bunch of hits, high ERA, plus Schilling might be done for the year. That ankle is messed up, I think he's done for the year. Everything is back on Pedro, yay... Sox are done... That means the world series will likely be

St Louis Cardinals vs New York Yankees

Cardinals bash the Yanks in 5.

sigh.

Not even joking, and I am not one of those silly Sox fans that says every year is the year, this was the year.

You improve pitching in all aspects, improve team defense, keep the moster bats up....where is there faults?

Yankees won game 3, final score 19-8?! No help from the Green Monster on this night. One game away from being swept out of the ALCS. Can anyone say "blowout?"

That was painful to watch.

Barring the comeback of all-time, I'll be rooting for the NL champs in the World Series.

Be prepared for, as you put it, "the comeback of all-time." And I really do believe that the Astros will win one of the two games in St. Louis. That means that Roger Clemens gets to face one of his former teams!! And if he faces the Red Sox... well... we all know how many Beantowners look at Roger now...

Anyway, this isn't the first time a team has won 2 in a row after being down 3-0 in a LCS. If you remember... '99, was it? It was either 99 or 2000... no, '99, cause in 2000, it was the Subway Series... in '99, the Braves led the Mets 3-0 and the Mets came back and won 2, and then had a chance to win a third and blew it in the 8th inning! I would like to see Boston win one more, heck, make that TWO more! I think it's possible. But, if the series goes as it always has, then they will win one more and get blown out in game 7.

wow...yesterday was a wild day. both games ended with walkoffs. anyways, houston seems to have the momentum to win game 6 so I think they'll get their first trip to the world series.

as for Boston--they are now a cinderella story at this point. being down 3-0 and winning the last two is amazing. But what makes it more amazing is the fact the Rivera has blown the last two save chances, which enabled boston to comeback in the later innings. If Boston gets behind again, I do not think Rivera will blow the next save chance.

I was thinking about that while watching the game too. The poor guy just cant get a break, and I love it. Im hoping they put Rivera in again, only to get demolished by the sox again. I hate the Yankees. The Red Sox deserve to at least get to the world series, they've suffered enough because of the damn Yankees.
I really dont like either team, so Im rooting for the Astros... I doubt they will finish on top, but let's be optimistic.

I am crossing my fingers for Prior too... I think Houston right now is the team to beat in the NL, not the Cubs. But I am a huge Cubs fan, so I have to root for them no matter what. I think we have a chance to make it back to the playoffs, and who knows what could happen from there

But Houston's picked up some pitching, and their offense was already pretty scary at times... I am holding my breath for my Cubbies

OOOOOOOOH! Lookie! w00t! I was right on from the starz0r! PWNED

EDIT: in case you wonder... no, I'm not psychic like you probably think I am

History has been made! The Red Sox, after being down 3-0 in the ALCS, have forced a game 7. This is the first time in history that has happened. I think Schilling's quote from game 1 applies tonight. PWN!

..............But I think the Yankees are still gonna win the series, evil bastards that they are.

Game 7, 8:15 pm CDT on Wednesday! An incredible series thus far. But of course, Yanks vs Sox, how can it NOT come down to game 7?

How many pitchers do you think each side will use in game 7? They'll probably both go through their entire staff by the time they reach the 21st inning.

And the NLCS will reach 7 games too! And the Astros will win! w00t!

for Game 7 tomorrow...i think the first team that uses their bullpen first will be the one to lose.

as for a Game 7 NLCS, i don't think so--Houston's gonna win tomorrow

Tonight's game is gonna be sweeeeet.

I think Boston's going to win it, actually - they can put the riot police to good use then. I just feel that the Yankees are basically shellshocked after the last three games, and if Boston can get some runs on the board early it's over.

I've been watching it off and on...it'd be nice if Sox took it after how far down they were. I thought they were going to blow it though in Game 5 but...they didn't. (Saw it Monday out of the corner of my eye...yea...really off and on)

NLCS end bot of 12th: 4-6 on a homer. Force game 7...

No sane person ever thinks the game is over after the 6th inning. When the fat lady sings, then it's over. The Yankees do have that come from behind record ya know, they didn't get it sitting on their asses. 61 times they came back from behind to win in the regular season, 2 times so far in the playoffs.

And who ever said -I-, of all people, was sane?

Insane but...Sox - 10, Yanks - 3.
