We also have our very own java applet IRC Chat so that you can chat without installing anything. Please note that this applet fails to work properly when running on the Microsoft VM; use the Sun Java VM instead.

Feel free to recommend your own chat clients or additions such as scripts for mIRC or plugins for GAIM or Colloquy.

NoNameScript - A very good script for mIRC. It has a gazillion different themes, many of which are really nice. Also has a lot of other nifty features.

Yep. There's actually a back story as to why it's not in. Trillian 3.0 is in beta now, and with it will comes an updated free version as well (Trillian Basic 3.0). I'll wait and see how the IRC mode has improved. If it still sucks, I'm probably not going to bother adding it. Strange how an app that started out as an IRC client has just grinded to a halt mostly in that area.

heh well.... the coming together of the 4 chat clients it has (ICQ AIM MSN and Yahoo) make it a really nice program.... for those, but it's the crappiest IRC client ever.... as far as I have experience...

but, it may be better... I should look at the 3.0 IRC client.... I have the beta of 3.0 right now.... so, might as well

I use Chatzilla myself. I love the tabs, but its hard to script for since I don't have a clue about Java.

I like Chatzilla except it has two faces. There's the firefox chatzilla extension which has timestamps and ugly smileys. And there's the mozilla version that doesn't have timestamps but has kickass smileys. And I ... don't script so I don't particualrly care. Would be nice to learn some day.

You would have to be extremely desparate, in my honest opinion. Trillian's IRC client is just terrible.
