| dood, lol, whatever I hadn't even been on IRC for like 5 months.. I get on and 15 people have ops that shouldn't becuase Bouche added them, so I removed them wow, big deal... and like people don't ban people CONSTANTLY in that channel for no reason and to joke around.... kinda hard to abuse powers when I'm not even around I abused no powers on IRC at all and I'd say equating me to a burglar is about the silliest thing ever.... point being, I didn't abuse ANY power or access on the board whatsoever.... and the IRC stuff is pretty trivial considering everyone does it.... I don't see you whining about Bouche adding the 15 people, just me removing them.... and a silly ban I set for 3 seconds, which other people in #acmlm ban people for like hours....... but it doesn't matter, call me what you want, I exerted no kind of control or tyranny over this forum, and you goddamn well know it.... and I wasn't even on IRC for the last 5 or 6 months until about a week ago... |

I think if you haven't been around in 5 months, you have no right to say whether or not said people should have had ops. You can keep digging a hole if you want to, Erk. The fact is that you broke multiple promises during our time spent on your host, you made more enemies than friends, and we were fed up of it. I can't count the number of times I wanted to de-admin you, knowing that I couldn't because you'd either throw a hissy fit or just re-admin yourself. Others felt the same, I'm sure. Considering how no admins were against the move... I think your problem is that you don't know how to conduct yourself online. Maybe your style works on NCF, but it doesn't here. You really couldn't adapt yourself to our style, and to be perfectly honest a lot of people saw you as an "odd man out" in the big picture. If you want to stick around on the board, be my guest. If not, I understand. |

| I didn't care for the use of Javascript for any reason no... and I had no objection to bandwidth useage by RSS, but instead, CPU / SQL Useage.... I could care less about bandwidth, bandwidth is a pretty unlimited resource for me... my concern was with CPU cycles and SQL resources involved in X number of people loading RSS feeds every 30 minutes while they aren't even at their PC, I made that painfully clear every time we talked about it, I didn't care about bandwidth but cared about the CPU / SQL Useage.... and since RSS is a singular feature, that would be ONE thing that I was opposed to, which in fact, I was not opposed to at all, just it's current implementation, which you did without even discussing before hand... unlike ALL the stuff that I did, which I did discuss with you before hand.... I said PM Management, and yes I forgot Edit Layout and blockable layouts, neither of which I was against, just the use of javascript, as it's support is different in every browser, and as we discovered caused ALOT of prolbems the first go round, cause you didn't adequately test it, so of course I was wary of using it.... anyway, like I said, your comment was way off base, as I didn't oppose ANY features, only the implementation of one of them and the use of Javascript |
