| Thanks for the explanation, Jesper. While I agree that Erk did not do well in his role as administrator (I personally found he could've handled the role with more integrity and class), I don't think it's exactly fair to have a mass Erk-bashing thread either. I agree with a lot of the stuff said in this thread. In fact, I agree with a great deal of it, and I do not believe that Erk was well suited to the role of Administration at Acmlm's Board. HOWEVER, I also think that Erk did make a lot of valuable contributions to the board, and I don't think he deserves this kind of treatment either. I'd like to thank Erk for hosting the board. And I'd like to hope that Erk steps down from his role gracefully, and understands why this happened. I hope that despite how things were handled, that there will be no hard feelings. |

| well, since I don't know much about how Erk was as an admin, since I didn't see any behind the scenes.... I can't comment... but I do know what kind of an admin he is.... having seen his finest work on a regular basis in other places.... and like I said before.... I'm surprised he stayed this long.... but I think this is for the best.... certain people have a history of bad luck as admins.... some people just don't do it well.... and Erk is one of them... at least when it comes to working with others.... he does a fantastic job of being a tryrant on his own  |

| You do realize that damn near everyone was offering to host the board in the downtime and not only Erk, right? Erk got it because of boasting how kickass his server was (and assumably a few other things) I also note that yes, as an admin all you did was ban me, but as an Acmlmboard developer, you abused that too (read Jesp's post(s))  Oh well. I'm just glad to be rid of him  |

| Like so many else have said, we weren't doing this because of the qualities of the actual hosting (it was good if not great), we were doing this because of the things Erk did outside of hosting us, or for the liberties he took just because he was hosting us. But I agree with Jesper, nothing wrong with the hosting, I just personally don't want the hoster to be involved with the content of what he's hosting. If you get what I mean. | I only did ONE Admin related thing since I was an admin anyway... so that's completely irrelevant... other than changing the images at the bottom of the board... I didn't put ANY thing or do ANYTHING that wasn't agreed upon by you and I Jesper so don't even bother trying to say otherwise.... I 'took no liberties' whatsoever, other than removing a paypal button.... nor did I do anything else administratively with this forum during the time I was an admin.... so other than banning XKeeper, and changing the images at bottom of the board, I took no "liberties" whatsover, and if you try to say I did, you are just lying out right... and geeogree, I'll say it again, I did nothing "adminish" other than ban Xkeeper... except for fixing people's profiles and adding forums at the behest of other admins, and if you read the threads regarding those things, I made sure there was -plenty- of support from the other admins, before I even did stuff like that so don't give me this tyranny bullshit, I didn't tyranize anything or exert any kind of power or control over this board... and you know it Jesper.... so stfu |
