Luigi for his jumping abilities ... 1-2 is so much easier with him since you can skip through the whole key/underground part  I remember when I used to pick Toad in 1-1 (to get more coins), the Princess in 4-2 (to avoid the many Beezos), and Luigi in all the rest  |

Toad is God. I used to beat the game without warping, picking Toad for every level. I always liked him because he could pick up the most coins in Subspace.  |

| I always take Luigi, heck the game is to easy with him. I should try to finish the whole games with the others... In orginal DDP you had to finish the game four times, once with each charachter for seeing the real ending. They removed that on SMB2, mainly becuse it would cost extra money adding battery memory... I actually evade collecting coins. I don't like that end level bonus... I usually get enough 1-ups anyway. |

| I would say Toad. He's got the best playcontrol overall, and he's much faster too. I really don't like using Luigi because he's quite slow, he takes a longer time to jump, and land again (although the hight is nice), and he easily slides off vines. Mario's my good for most things. And Peach is pretty good, but lacks some speed. |
