The layer priority doesn't affect the floor so you can see the bottom of the boo there. It's really easy to do accidentally and somewhat distracting.

Also, in 2-1 I can't get the question cloud in the cement block box with a drop down thing on the bottom =/

Alright, I think I know what you mean with the boos in the cave. You can't see the boos when the little cave part is closed, but you can see part of them when their bottom parts goes beyond the closed cave. I really don't think there's a way to fix that, all sprites appear beneath the closed cave, but boo usually appears above all other layers. Yes, it is a little strange, but it is not too much of a glitch since the sprite itself doesn't have messed up graphics, and there's no way to control how the boos are layered.

And to get that ? cloud in 2-1:

Spoiler:
By those cement blocks, there is a balloon with a green cactus. Put the cactus in your mouth, and spit it through the cement blocks and on the cloud. Those cacti are able to move through objects.

Good scores too, I know why you didn't get a perfect score in 2-1 obviously. Did you miss a red coin in 2-4?

Yeah, that's what I mean. I was thinking it could be fixed if you just didn't set it to reveal the cave only as you enter it, that way the layer priority wouldn't cover boo anyway. This is also good because it takes awhile to display and since you have to enter and exit so much there it's just really distracting.

Oh, and... got 100 on 2-1. Yeah I missed a red coin. Every time It's not 100, it's probably 'cause of red coins, as I'll just use a star +10/20 if necessary at the end of a level, and bosses are of course very easy.

Oh, and eh... Is the boss music supposed to play in the room where you get the key from the skeletal fishes in 2-8? It seems somewhat out of place considering it's just three normal enemies.

Well...I think I'll keep that cave property, since that is the type of structure I wanted. The only problem seems to be with the boo, and it isn't even all that major considering it isn't a graphical glitch, just a slight layering glitch.

And I also wanted the boss music in the fishbone room. I wanted it because it was kind of like a mini boss or something, and that you couldn't use any special items to defeat them. Do you think I should change the music?

Did you get perfect scores in all the levels of world 2 yet?

Well with the minibosses in YI there was no music, but... If you're gonna have boss music it should be the miniboss version of Salvo the Slime, and use the subboss music (that plays in levels _-4 against the bosses). And no, I haven't gotten perfect scores yet. I was thinking I could just make a .zmv movie of me going through 2-4, 2-6, and 2-8 so you can see what I have, then you can tell me where to get what I'm missing. In fact, I'll go do that movie right now.

Alright, a .zmv sounds good. I will change the music also, it isn't quite fitting afterall.

The movie stopped recording properly at some point after 2-4, so... Meh. On the plus side, I found the missing coin in 2-4, so that's good.

So anyway, on Extra. Wow. This is almost the perfect level. The only thing that drags it down is the barrier room stretching on too long for my tastes. Going back for more eggs, then going and breaking stuff, then going back for more eggs, et cetera is rather boring... If the second half of it were to be cut off and what's in it placed in an additional room, it'd be completely perfect (isn't that a bit redundant? Meh)

Wow, I must say that you did very well. I haven't gotten all 100's yet, though. It's hard to find them... One thing. Please change the BG effect in Bigger Boo's Fort. Watching it move with the foreground gives me a headache.

I added more egg blocks in that room along the way, that way you don't have to go back to the beginning of the room to get more eggs. Hopefully the level will be better that way.

And Peardian, I have no clue what you're talking about with 2-4.

...the background moves exactly at the same speed as the foreground. To see exactly what he means, edit a level in Super Mario World and set the screen scrolling rate to None. Could be annoying in some cases...

Constant scrolling, you mean. If it moves at the same speed as the foreground, it's CONSTANT scrolling.

Yes, that's why I don't know what he's talking about. In 2-4, the BG moves along with the FG, just like in the rest of the levels. I don't know what his problem with 2-4 is though.

It's not all of 2-4, just one room (it's big). Watch this. The first is from the beginning. The second is from the room with the Constant scrolling. This is the only level I know of with this in it.

You could've just said what room. Animated gifs are needlessly big.

Anyway, I didn't notice it. It's not too big of a problem, and easily explained - the background here is significantly closer to the main area than it is in the other areas, so it appears to go by faster.

You could disable layer 2... But, considering the effect used on the background, that wouldn't erase it entirely, it would merely cut out the image with the effect remaining, so... Unless you were to open it yourself, no. I don't know if that's possible, either, seeing as I don't have EggVine and have never used it.

Actually, I was asking about special effects for Layer 2 movement, like the one used here and in 6-8 room 2 (2 & 3 synchronized). I don't want to edit GY's work.
