I want to change the goombas. one level, they're the smw ones, the other level, are my own custom design. I have the graphics in my tile editors, I'm just lost from there. So, how can I have one level of goombas the original way, and the other level, my own custom goombas? Thank You for your replies! This will help me out alot, because it will also help me to edit other sprites! Thanks again!

Yes, with ExGFX... In the Super GFX Bypass, you set SP2 to load your file with the custom graphics (This assumes they're in the correct place, of course.)

You have to put the edited sprite in the ExGFX##.bin file you made in the same place the goomba or whatever other enemy you are changing to was originally placed.

Nope. You have to do this:

The goombas are stored on GFX01.bin. Copy this .bin and paste it in the ExGraphics folder, and rename it to ExGFX## (put in the place of '##' any number)
Open your tile editor (tlp, yy-chr, whatever). Open the ExGFX file you just created and paste the graphics you ripped over the goomba graphics. Save, and insert the exgfx in LM to the rom.
Now choose the level you want the extra graphic to be in. Open the 'super gfx bypass' window and choose SP02, change it from GFX01 to ExGFX## (where '##' is the number of your exgfx file).

Hope this helps

I'm trying to remember where there was a list on this site, that told what all the GFX## contents were. Hope I can find it. Thank You so much! And thank you for the speedy replies!!

yeah yeah, sorry i forgot. I don't have an edit option it seems, sorry I wrote that. But I've got another legitamit quesiton.

I have the goombas installed in SP2. Now the mushrooms, are in GFX00. I have custom mushrooms I'd like to install. Can I install this graphic in either SP1 3 or 4? Is that how you do that? Hope I'm on that right track.

I am going to go out on a limb and say they are used for sprites not contained in 1 or 2.
