So this is a little experiment. You'll reply to this thread stating what languages you know and are willing to help out with. I'll keep a tally of it all, and hopefully one will be able to find out if one's question will be answered by looking here. If you have deeper knowledge in a specific part of a language or a specific area of usage than the rest of it, append it to the language name in parantheses - () - and if you only know a limited part of it, append it but in brackets instead - [].

Short rules: Only programming languages go here. HTML, XML, SVG, SGML are markup languages. CSS is a formatting template language. SQL is a query language. All competency in SQL especially may be added in paranthesis as a strength of a certain language - eg "PHP (MySQL connection)". This also means that if you don't write the SQL queries directly but manage the rows and tables with, say, an object-oriented layer which does the hard work for you, and you did not write it (which in itself is a strength), you might want to say instead "PHP (MySQL connection thru query abstraction layer)". Delphi [basics] and Java[basics].

Don't expect me helping much with Delphi, I can fix code if there is some errors and such but I forget a great deal of that language. I'm learning Java currently so expect me being better on it all the time.

C/C++
6502
and maybe a bit of GB-Z80

I know the NES almost inside out and backwards (especially when it comes to the sound) so I might be able to help with that too ^^

I know PHP: I mastered the basics, and can do a few things that aren't basic at all. But for an odd reason, I have problem working with code when it's too big.

HTML and XML are markup languages. CSS is a formatting template language. SQL is (just about) only used in other languages and is pretty well covered by "(databases)" on other languages. This is probably for the best since there are different dialects of SQL depending of what language and database engine you use. Therefore I'll not cover these as languages on the list.

GB-K: Thanks.

Delphi - Probably the programming language I use the most.
C# - I've been using this a bit lately, but I'd say my knowledge is basic.
Java - Learned the basics, but never really made anything to test my knowledge.
VB - It's been a while since I used it, but I still know enough to help with basic enquiries.
VB .NET - Only a very basic knowledge here.
PHP - I know enough to make my website updateable through a wiki-style system, with rollback features
6502 - My knowledge isn't really great, but enough to add basic features to games.

C/C++ [no gui programming experience and never tried] - the language i use the most now.
Java [no beans and all those advanced stuff] - can cope with some networking and security, but not too advanced.
6502/65816 [basics]
VB [basics] - i forgot a lot already, but I do have some level editor experience with it though.
Javascript [really basic] - still learning.

All in all it looks like this experiment turned out good. As a next step for clarity I split it up in some categories. It's really hard, though. VBScript is both Basic and a scripting language (and a web development language when used with ASP). PHP and Perl are both scripting languages AND web development languages. I had to enforce some constraints. Within the categories, they are ordered alphabetically. I might do that with the names under each language too, soon, but I want to know how you feel about the existing structure. I think I made a good job of splitting it up so that unless you'd want integration between two apps, a typical question in this forum will rarely touch more than one category.

i guess since you're counting them as real programming languages, TI-83 Basic and QBasic for me.

i'm still 'framiliar' with a few other languages and can get by well enough given time, but not enough to offer any intelligent comments on the topics, so i think that about does it for me and the languages i know.

TI-83+ basic (I made a pong-ish game, too bad that with the TI-83's text dimensions the ball was stuck in a repitive loop )

TI-92+ basic (yes, it's very different -- for one you can type in the commands =P)

QBasic (duh.)

...

kill "everyone.dat" 'This does nothing.
