CDs: If you mean my last CD purchase.... the Punisher OST, and not too long before that, Incubus-Crow Left of the Murder, which was roughly 6 months ago. I haven't bought any CDs in a really long time, though I now own 50 or so.

DVDs:
Scary Movie 3
Bad Boys (original)
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Will get (maybe tomorrow): The Punisher.

I think that's about all.

Zimmer's Hole - Bound by Fire

Took me 3 years to find one of their CDs, but I found it, used for 10 bucks.

DVD: Oasis - Definitely Maybe (Really liking it. Great documentary, live version of all the tracks and music videos. Kinda weird though, I've never actually bought the CD. Probably since all the record stores around here suck and never have it in.EDIT:I knew there was gonna be something. I looked around some places, and apparently the US version has two discs where the second disc has extra interviews and more live material. Fuckit.)
CD: The Strokes - Room On Fire (Haven't really felt like buying it until now. The fact that it's fucking copy protected plays a major part in this, I wanna be able to play my fucking record whenever the fuck I want. I was also gonna get Whatever Happened To Corey Haim by The Thrills today, but decided not to because it was copy protected. I fucking hate copy protection.)

I don't buy CDs, but here are the DVDs I've bought this year (well, at least those I can remember)

The Ring
Rowan Atkinson Live
(Those two were a batch I got for a gift certificate I had to use that day.)
Kill Bill vol. 1
Casino Royale (It was cheap. And it's funny.)

I'm waiting for the extended version of Return of the King before I pick up that movie. I have to at least rent Punisher as well. Some moron decided it shouldn't be released in theaters over here. Even though Punisher is a lot more well-known in Norway than Blade and Hellboy combined. And those movies were released. (Hellboy has appeared in ONE comic book, which has only had one issue released so far, and he had to share it with 4 other comics (They were all good, though.) Blade has had a cameo in a norwegian Spider-Man issue once. Punisher currently has his own comic book here, and Punisher stories were printed in an old comic book called Magnum some years ago.)

You know, when I was buying cd's today, I noticed this one. I decided against it but when I came home and downloaded it, I wanted to kick myself for not picking it up. I'll get it next time around though.

But today I got Lacuna Coil's "Comalies" but more importantly, I found a copy of Lamb of God's new album. (Ashes of the Wake)

I could have gotten it at Wal-Mart last week but as you know, they have the censored versions. Fuck that.

I so want that DVD. I've been looking forward to it ever since they announced it. If I wasn't a poor student, I'd be watching it as we speak.

Yeah, the new Mastodon album is definitely great, though the clean vocals aren't the greatest. I like their album Remission a hell of a lot more. Better songs, more impressive.

I always love digging in the 2 for cheap price bins, and since we could buy, we dids. We don't have a cd player, and downloading is faster anyway, so here goes.

DVD
Needful things (surprisingly good, given that it's a Stephen King movie)
The whole 9 yards (hilarious, if the sequel is as good as this, I regret not having it seen yet)

Today I went out soley to get the new Megadeth album, "The System Has Failed". Kick ass.

I also ended up getting the aforementioned Mastodon cd, "Leviathan". Such a great booklet it came with.

That, and The Best of Pantera. The dvd it comes with has 10 videos on it . Very nice, very nice.

Oh, and I got Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster". Hey, it came with a t-shirt and it was only 10 bucks. I love promotional material.

Yes, the artwork for Leviathan is incredible. And it's a great album, although The Dillinger Escape Plan's Miss Machine still stands as my favorite metal album of 2004 so far.

Definitely get Mastodon's Remission. It's mind-blowingly good. That and the first song starts out with what sounds like a Tie Fighter, just before the song ROCKS out for a total of 2 minutes.

Ordered today (September 16th):

Cave In - Creative Eclipses
Error - Error
KMFDM - Symbols
Meshuggah - Destroy Erase Improve
Meshuggah - I

Pre-ordered (DVD):

Fraggle Rock: Where It All Began [Special Edition]

Oh heeeeell yeah! Fraggle Rock, baby. Comes out October 19th. Can't wait.

If I don't find Remission in the next couple of weeks, I'll order it online.

Todays haul
-----------------
CD's
Iced Earth The Glorious Burden
Metallica Kill 'Em All

DVD's
Iron Maiden Visions of the Beast
Judas Priest Electric Eye

The Iron Maiden dvd is fucking awesome. Two dvd set which is jam packed with a shitload of content. Look it up on cdnow or Amazon (same thing basically) to see what's on it. All their videos, animated alternate videos, promos from the 80's, live stuff, the works. Fucking awesome.

The JP one is almost as good too. 13 videos, 19 live performances, and 6 tv performances. Kick ass.

Oh, small side note on the Metallica cd. I already have it, but the first night I bought it, I was looking at the booklet in my friends car on the way home. I accidentally left it there and never saw it again. It's been bugging the hell out of me for years so I finally caved in and bought it again.
I even looked on ebay for just the book, but no luck. Oh well.

EDIT: I almost forgot. I bought the new Megadeth cd again. Why? Because the one I bought Tuesday had the censored cover. It's complete bullshit. Take a look at the cover for yourself and you'll agree. There was absolutely NO need to censor it.
So I bought the original album cover version. Had to have it.

For ordering CDs online (and also DVDs), I recommend Bull Moose Music. I've been using it for years. The prices are good (although they've gone up a little in the past half-year), and the media mail shipping option is super cheap, and if I order on a Monday, I'll usually get my stuff by the following Friday or Saturday.

Just know that for getting Remission, Bull Moose lists the digipak version that comes with the DVD, but in actuality all they have is the standard jewel case version. But don't bother finding the digipak version and paying a great deal for it... The DVD is all audio and I hear it's real crappy-sounding. Digipaks are cool though...

ADD-ON (Sep. 25):

Bought this DVD:

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Great shit. Totally FIIIIINE! Guy Ritchie, I could kiss him. The guy who plays Barry the Baptist was supposedly a bare-knuckle boxer who had somewhere around THREE THOUSAND consecutive wins. He musta been a one-punch machine! And seeing as how BRUTISH he is, I totally believe it! Too bad he died of throat cancer after the movie was made. :( Damn shame... He was supposed to play a role in Snatch.

Oh, and as for Fraggle Rock, Bull Moose didn't process my pre-order fo' some reason or 'nudda. Good thing though...'cos I don't want it anymore! It's only got 3 episodes... How bogus. Cave in and release a season set...

Also got these, same night...

DVDs:
Donnie Darko
Frailty

CDs
Unearth - The Oncoming Storm
