i just finished the demo. Although the overall level structure was decent, I found the hack pretty uninteresting for a number of reasons:

Overall problems:
1. Levels are way too short.
2. Levels are too straightforward. Everything you need to look for is right in front of you, you don't have to look anywhere special to find what you need.
3. Some problems with your vertical scrolling. What I mean is, sometimes, at the top of your screen, you place enemies too high, and you can't see too much of what's going on. For me, the best way to solve this is to put a row of grey cement blocks at the top of the screen above the screen where you have your enemies. This will cause the screen to scroll up when you enter it so you can get a better view.
4. Some levels still resemble original YI levels too much.

Individual level problems:
1-1: There is a small glitch with the red line bridge outline. You put it too close to the ledge and it cuts off a bit of the ledge.
1-2: Can't even get a score 100%, which makes it even more uninteresting.
1-3:
1. Try to avoid having a ? cloud in a chomp chase. The player already has to run away very fast from it, and having them shoot an egg at the cloud could get annoying.
2. You accidently have the entrance pipe to the 2nd room lead to La La Land. Change it to an unusable pipe.
3. Change the beginning portion. I don't want to see the exact same thing as I saw in the original.

Overall, it was not that great, but for your first YI demo, I'm sure there's room for much more improvement. Good luck!
