Did you know about that pink bird with a shy guy from SMB2? And the dino boss who throw eggs? When Wart is defeated, the cast of all enemies is showed. It says that the pink bird is Birdo and the dino boss is Ostro, but I saw everyone says that Ostro is Birdo. Anyone have some comments? |

I think everyone says that the "dino boss" is Birdo because the Mario Tennis. | I thinks it's best that I get to you first before some wise apple with l337 talk shoots their mouth off. It is fairly common knowledge at this point that the names where switched upon american arrival. It's just one of those things that never was fixed. Much like the whole "Claw Glip vs. Claw Grip" or "Luigi's short-lived stint as a homosexual to increase ratings" thing. But while on the topic of SMB2 anomolies, it seems to me that Sub-Con was a world that only consisted of about ten bug-fairies. And ten bug-faires couldn't really occupy ALL of sub-con. So Wart and his people more or less filled in the unoccupied space. Now maybe the bug-fairies happend to fall inside a jug and close themselves in accidently, We'll never know. Team Mario, drunk off their power from their last adventure, took it upon themselves to overthrow the current Sub-con residence. leaveing in their wake a trail off murder and rape (yes, princess too). uhm, where was I? yeah, birdo is the egg boss and ostro is the ostrich. |

| Wasnt there that big mistake in SMRPG about the cloud enemy thingy. It was like one thing... but when Mallow phycopathed him it was diferent  ...Yeah, there are a lot of errors in spelling in Mario for some reason ("Recoers 30 hp, but..." Comes to mind :LOL |

I see. I'm like of calling dino boss of Ostro anyway. I think a lot of people call Ostro of Birdo. I'm don't call Birdo because SMB2 is the original. So Ostro was the first name to that enemy. It was the name, are and ever will be. |

| That's because the word Ostro has more to do with Germanic/French/Italian cultures than it does with Mario. If there were an enemy in a game named "Cossack" or "Kiev"...Just do a search on those words now. Nothing is going to change. |

| If I remember right, Birdo and Ostro's names were mistakenly switched in the translation/conversion for SMB2, and they also in the manual discribed Birdo as a guy who thinks he's a girl for some reason. Now, "Luigi's homosexual stint" that someone mentioned I don't know of. Care to explain? |

Actually I believe that Luigi made out with Wendy O. Koopa at some point of the TV show.. it was a sick image.. but i would be an even 'sickier' image to see Luigi make out with mouser... or with birdo (not ostro.. im from america.. if NOA wanted us to know the sissy pink 'thingy' as birdo then Birdo it is  .. besides ostro makes more sense to the 2 framed monster that shy-guy rode....)What's with all these asexual androgynous (is that even spelled right?) characters anyway?! |

| Who KNOWS. At any rate, Birdo, to me, is the Birdo that appears in Mario Tennis and Double Dash. What's this about making out on the Mario show? When the hell was that?!? That doesn't quite sound like something they'd put on that show...  'Speaking of name changes, I'm REALLY confused about the names of Mario's partners in Paper Mario 2- I've seen multiple names for some of the characters- three for some of them. I've heard about it before. First the princess was just "Princess". Later I think the creators have decided to give a name to she, so she was called "Princess Toadstool". The name "Peach" I don't know how it was created. All I know is that her name is now Princess Toadstool Peach. I think Toadstool is used by her position like a princess. |
